Matemática e arte à luz [e à noite] de Gaston Bachelard: processos criativos na educação

Abstract

Este texto intenta colocar luz sobre o pensamento diurno e noturno (complementar e não oposto) de Gaston Bachelard sobre a razão e a imaginação, para pensar as conexões entre a Matemática e a Arte. Para tanto, analisa-se o envolvimento de Bachelard com os pressupostos do movimento surrealista da arte, a partir do qual o epistemólogo propõe o termo surracionalidade. Com isso, devanear-se-á com a surracionalidade em Educação Matemática, dialogando com o que se produz em pesquisas que envolvem Matemática e Arte, nas quais a imaginação criadora pode potencializar a problematização e a reflexão do conhecimento matemático, fazendo com que outras e novas coisas, pensamento e conhecimento aconteçam.

This text tries to shed light on Gaston Bachelard's daytime and nighttime (complementary and not opposite) thinking about reason and imagination, to think about the connections between Mathematics and Art. For this it analyzes Bachelard's involvement with the assumptions of the surrealist art movement, from which the epistemologist proposes the term surrationality. With this, it will be daydream with the surrationality in Mathematical Education, dialoguing with what is produced in research involving Mathematics and Art, in which the creative imagination can enhance the problematization and reflection of mathematical knowledge, making others and new things, thought and knowledge happen.
