Análise textual intralingual para a tradução de poemas em libras ao português

Abstract

A Poesia é um gênero textual que suscita experiências estéticas marcantes, ressaltando a subjetividade da mensagem e a criatividade do autor, tanto em línguas orais quanto em línguas de sinais. Porém, ainda são raras as pesquisas sobre métodos de tradução de textos poéticos na direção Libras-Português. Assim, nesta tese se questiona: como é possível traduzir poemas em língua de sinais para línguas orais, mediante a análise textual intralingual e segundo uma perspectiva orientada de maneira interdisciplinar a partir do contato com ferramentas e referenciais teóricos e literários Surdos? Dessa forma, objetiva-se ratificar a traduzibilidade irrestrita de poemas em Libras, apresentando o Surdo brasileiro como autor profícuo, mediante a análise, tradução, comentários e anotações de traduções de textos poéticos em sinais, como também, apresentar a Análise Textual Intralingual Funcionalista como ferramenta metodológica normativa descritiva interdisciplinar consoante com o uso aplicado e contextualizado da ferramenta Glossinais, de uma forma tal, que seja favorável ao desenvolvimento de procedimentos tradutórios para línguas orais de textos poéticos em línguas de sinais. Para isso, discorre-se sobre os pressupostos teóricos, tanto da Poesia em Língua de Sinais enquanto Gênero Textual pertinente à Literatura Surda quanto do Funcionalismo enquanto teoria dos Estudos da Tradução, e ainda, sobre a Glossinais enquanto ferramenta Surda de suporte a procedimentos de tradução. Metodologicamente, foi justificada a escolha e coleta dos textos poéticos analisados, foram expostas informações a respeito das ferramentas de análise, de modo que se esclarecesse como essas análises foram feitas, e ainda, como foram recolhidas autorizações de direito de uso da imagem e do texto poético pessoal perante os Surdos Autores dos Poemas em Libras analisados. Em nível de resultados, foram expostas as análises textuais intralinguais dos poemas, levando-se em consideração quaisquer mudanças procedimentais fruto do contato com a Análise Textual Funcionalista (NORD, 2016). Como desdobramento disso, cada poema investigado conta com a apresentação de suas respectivas traduções, antes e depois da aplicação da análise textual intralingual interdisciplinar funcionalista. Logo após, discutiu-se os resultados retomando os referenciais teóricos do estudo a fim de se justificar a utilização do método proposto, relacionando a pesquisa com os objetivos propostos. Então, concluiu-se que, não importa a complexidade dos objetos de pesquisa envolvendo textos em procedimentos de tradução, porque, ao experimentar, na prática, a análise textual intralingual funcionalista, aumenta-se a segurança da funcionalidade dos textos, como também, o efeito dos produtos traduzidos no público leitor-receptor, quer sejam eles enunciados em língua de sinais ou em línguas orais.

Abstract : Poetry is a textual genre that evokes remarkable aesthetic experiences, projecting the subjectivity of the message and author's creativity, both in oral and in sign languages. However, the researches about translation methods of poetic texts in the Brazilian Sign Language to Brazilian Portuguese direction are still rare. Thus, this dissertation questions: how is possible to translate sign language poems to oral language poems, through the intralingual textual analysis and in accordance to an interdisciplinary approach emerged from the contact between Deaf tools and Deaf references, both theoretical and literary? In this way, is aimed to ratify the unrestricted translatability of Brazilian Sign Language Poems, presenting the Brazilian Deaf as a prolific subject author, through the analysis, translations, comments and annotations of poems in Brazilian Sign Language translated to Brazilian Portuguese, as also, present the Functionalist Intralingual Textual Analysis as an interdisciplinary descriptive normative methodological tool conformable to the application of the Glossigning tool (Glossinais) so that is favorable to develop translation procedures to oral languages of sign language poetic texts. To achieve that, the theoretical foundations are presented: Sign Language Poetry as a Textual Genre pertinent to Sign Language/Deaf Literature, Functionalism as a Translation Studies Theory, as well as, Glossigning (Glossinais) as a Deaf oriented translation aid to support textual translation tasks. Methodologically, it was explained and justified how the poetic texts were chosen to be analyzed, it was presented more information about the theoretical instruments used to analyze the data, so that be clear how these analyses were conducted and yet, were collected authorizations on the part of the Deaf Poets authors of the Brazilian Sign Language Poems analyzed to use their image and their personal poetic texts in the research. As results, the translated poems intralingual textual analyses were exposed, considering any procedural changes resulting from the contact with the Functionalist Textual Analysis Approach. Unfolded from these, the poems researched have their respective translations presented: the ones before and after the application of the Functionalist Interdisciplinary Intralingual Textual Analysis tool. Next, it was discussed about the results, reviewing them in accordance to the theoretical references presented initially, to justify the use of the proposed method, relating all the research to the proposed objectives. Finally, it is concluded that it does not matter how complex are the research objects regarding texts involved in translation procedures, because, when the Functionalist Intralingual Textual Analysis Methodological Approach is experienced in practical terms, the assurance of the texts functionality is increased, as well as, the effect of the translated products to the public, even they are enounced in sign language or oral languages.
