Diálogos entre literatura e cinema: o caso da adaptação de Estive em Lisboa e lembrei de você

Abstract

Esta tese tem como objetivo investigar o espaço de concepção do filme Estive em Lisboa e lembrei de você (2015), de José Barahona (1969--), adaptação do romance homônimo (2009) de Luiz Ruffato (1961--). Valendo-nos das ideias apresentadas por Robert Stam (2003, 2008) e Linda Hutcheon (2011) sobre teorias da adaptação, proponho uma reflexão sobre a passagem do livro ao filme, tendo como foco o roteiro cinematográfico, ferramenta que permite a travessia de um lado a outro. Para tanto, a partir dos pressupostos teóricos de Jean-Claude Carrière (2015), Michel Chion (1982, 1989) e Marcel Martin (2005), privilegiamos analisar elementos representativos desta (re) criação como cenários, objetos e personagens. Além disso, levando em consideração tanto a mudança de meio, do literário para o audiovisual, quanto as idiossincrasias do processo, examinamos o que persiste ou evanesce no ato de adaptação. Pretendemos, desta forma, entender como e em que medida livro e filme dialogam entre si.

Abstract : Within the framework of this report of Doctorate the domain of the Translation Studies, we are interested to analyze the space of conception of the film Estive em Lisboa e lembrei de você (2015), by José Barahona (1969--), adaptation of Luiz Ruffato s (1961--) homonymous novel (2009). Subscribing to the ideas proposed by Robert Stam (2003, 2008) and Linda Hutcheon (2011) on the theories of the adaptation, I intend a reflection on the passage from book to film, with focus on the screenplay, tool which allows the crossing on a side to the other. From the theoretical premises of Jean-Claude Carrière (2015), Michel Chion (1982, 1989) and Marcel Martin (2005), we favor the study of elements representative as sets, objects and characters. Besides, taking into account the process of the literary text to the film text, we examined what persists or disappears in the action of adaptation. We intend, this way, to understand to what extent how book and film sustain a dialogue with each other.
