Tradução comentada da HQ Dans mes yeux, de Bastien Vivès

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise semiótica, bem como a tradução comentada, da obra em quadrinhos franco-belga Dans Mes Yeux, do quadrinista francês Bastien Vivès, publicada pela editora Casterman em 2009. Destacando que os desafios de tradução ao se trabalhar com Histórias em Quadrinhos são particulares desta mídia, entende-se necessária uma análise aprofundada dos elementos presentes numa página de HQSs, não somente do ponto de vista estrutural, mas também do olhar tradutório, auxiliando na compreensão de como estes elementos podem influenciar as decisões de tradução. Defende-se a teoria de que, se estes elementos influenciam a tradução, podem e devem ser encarados como elementos traduzíveis, isto é, como o lugar onde o texto habita. Sendo assim, abre-se a possibilidade de inserir as Histórias em Quadrinhos no pensamento de Antoine Berman, tratando o ambiente semiótico de um quadrinho como Letra. Por se tratar de uma obra de grande sensibilidade gráfica e rica em elementos imagéticos que guiam a narrativa, Dans Mes Yeux torna-se um exemplo diferenciado para esta pesquisa.

Abstract : The present work aims to present a semiotic analysis, as well as the commented translation, of Franco-Belgian comics Dans Mes Yeux, by French comic artist Bastien Vivès, published by the Casterman publishing house in 2009. Stressing that the challenges of translation while working comics are particular to this media, it is understood that an in-depth analysis of the elements present on a page of HQSs is necessary, not only from the structural point of view, but also from the translation perspective, helping in the understanding of how these elements can influence the decisions of Translation. The theory defended is that, if these elements influence translation, they can and should be regarded as translatable elements, that is, as the place where the text lives. Thus, the possibility of inserting the Comic Books in the thought of Antoine Berman, treating the semiotic environment of a comic like Letter is opened. Because it is a work of great graphic sensitivity and rich in imaginary elements that guide the narrative, Dans Mes Yeux becomes a different example for this research.
