A linguística de corpus e os heterossemânticos no par de línguas espanhol/português

Abstract

Partindo do princípio que ferramentas de auxílio à tradução têm o potencial de facilitar a tarefa de alunos e professores de Língua Estrangeira, nas traduções de textos contemplados com os heterossemânticos (espanhol/português brasileiro), foi realizada uma pesquisa-ação com os alunos do Ensino Médio do curso Técnico em Hospedagem/IFC- Campus Camboriú, fundamentada nos seguintes objetivos: 1) Contribuir para o desenvolvimento do aprendiz nas habilidades de uso do dicionário bilíngue impresso eficientemente; 2) Analisar o resultado da tradução do heterossemântico que obteve o maior número de ocorrência no Corpus del Español e no CREA, quando do uso do Google Translate e do Dicionário Escolar WMF bilíngue impresso; 3) Verificar se é viável ou não, utilizar como metodologia de ensino/aprendizagem da Língua Espanhola, na tradução e ajuste da tradução dos heterossemânticos, o uso das seguintes ferramentas: Corpus del Español, Google Translate e o Dicionário Escolar WMF bilíngue impresso. Com base nos objetivos supracitados, a pesquisa partiu do seguinte questionamento: A utilização do Corpus del Español, do Google Translate e do Dicionário Escolar WMF bilíngue impresso, satisfaz as necessidades dos usuários para a tradução e ajuste da tradução dos heterossemânticos (espanhol/português)? Considerando os objetivos e a pergunta acima, foram analisadas as traduções do heterossemântico ?largo?(ocorrências extraídas do Corpus del Español) e os ajustes dessas traduções, fazendo uso de duas ferramentas: do Google Translate e do dicionário WMF.<br>

Abstract : Based on the concept that the translation tools have the power to facilitate the tasks of students and teachers of foreign languages, in the translations of texts containing false cognates (spanish/ brazilian portuguese), it was realized an action-research with High school students from the Hospitality Technical Course at IFC- Camboriú Campus, guided by the following objectives: 1) Contribute for the learner´s ability development in the use of the bilingual printed dictionary efficiently; 2) analyze the result of the false cognate translation which had the biggest number of occurrences in the Corpus del Español and in CREA, when the Google Translate and the bilingual printed School Dictionary WMF were used 3) Verify whether it is viable or not to use, as a methodology teaching/ learning of the Spanish language and in the translation and translation adjustment of the false cognates, the following tools: Corpus del Español ,Google Translate and the bilingual printed School Dictionary WMF . Based on the objectives cited before, the research was guided by the following questions: Does the use of Corpus del Español, of Google Translate and of the bilingual printed School Dictionary WMF satisfy the users ´needs for the translation and translation adjustments of false cognates (spanish /portuguese)? Considering the objectives and the question above, the translations of the false cognate  largo have been analyzed (occurrences extracted from the Corpus del Español) and the adjustments of these translations, making use of two tools: The Google Translate and the dictionary WMF.
