Fios, cotejos e costuras: gêneros quadrinísticos em uma coleção didática de Língua Portuguesa

Abstract

Esta pesquisa consiste em um trabalho de costura que perpassa a teoria bakhtiniana, o ensino e aprendizagem de Língua Portuguesa e os gêneros quadrinísticos. Nela, buscamos compreender como os quadrinhos são incluídos em uma coleção de livros didáticos e considerar um movimento de avanços e retrocessos no ensino de português. Para isso, Eisner (1989) e Vergueiro (2018a; 2018b) nos ajudaram a compreender as principais características dos gêneros quadrinísticos, e Figueira (2009) nos amparou com sua perspectiva bakhtiniana sobre esses gêneros. Em seguida, percorremos o caminho histórico do ensino de Língua Portuguesa a partir de Soares (2002) e Pietri (2007), cotejando com os livros didáticos e os documentos oficiais de ensino - PCN, BNCC e PNLD. Para esclarecer nossa perspectiva de análise, dialogamos com Bakhtin (2017) e Volóchinov (2018) ao expor nossa compreensão sobre a palavra como signo ideológico e das noções de enunciado e gênero discursivo. Analisamos a coleção Tecendo Linguagens (OLIVEIRA; ARAÚJO 2018), destinada a alunos de 6º a 9º anos, amparando-nos na metodologia indiciária de Carlo Ginzburg (1989) e traçando nosso caminho interpretativo a partir do cotejo entre textos, na noção bakhtiniana explicada por Geraldi (2012), Giovani (2017) e Miotello (2017). Ao final, nossa análise evidenciou alguns avanços no ensino de Língua Portuguesa a partir do livro didático, como o trabalho com gêneros e a preocupação em seguir as perspectivas teóricas atuais. Algumas declarações de avanços nos estudos dos gêneros quadrinísticos também foram identificadas, mas a maioria das atividades ainda retira o texto de seu meio social e propõe análises fragmentadas de gramática normativa.

Abstract: This research consists of a sewing work that permeates the Bakhtinian theory, the teaching and learning of Portuguese language and the comic genres, in order to understand how comics are approached in a collection of textbooks and recognize a movement of advancements and retreats in Portuguese teaching. For this, Eisner (1989) and Vergueiro (2018a; 2018b) helped us to understand the main characteristics of comics, and Figueira (2009) supported us with his Bakhtinian perspective on those genres. After that, we went through the historical path of Portuguese teaching based on Soares (2002) and Pietri (2007), collating with textbooks and official teaching documents - PCN, BNCC and PNLD. To clarify our perspective of analysis, we established a dialogue with Bakhtin (2017) and Volochinov (2018) when exposing our understand of the word as an ideological sign and the notions of utterance and discursive genre. We analyzed the collection Tecendo Linguagens (OLIVEIRA; ARAÚJO), intended to students from 6th to 9th grades, based on the indiciary methodology developed by Carlo Ginzburg (1989) and tracing our interpretative path from the collating among texts, in the Bakhtinian notion explained by Geraldi (2012), Giovani (2017) and Miotello (2017). By the end, our analysis showed some progress on Portuguese teaching based on textbooks, like the work with genres and the concern with following the most recent theoretical perspective. Some signs of advancement on the study of comic genres were also identified, but most part of the activities still remove the text from its social field and present fragmented analyzes of normative grammar.
