Jornadas e refúgios na arte de Ai Weiwei: psicanálise, criação e política

Abstract

Essa dissertação analisa e discute sobre algumas criações artísticas de Ai Weiwei concernentes à atual crise dos refugiados. Guiando-se pela teoria, método e ética psicanalíticas, busca-se escutar as obras de arte em suas dimensões singulares, perscrutando seus aspectos estéticos, políticos e utópicos. Utiliza-se o método de atenção flutuante de leitura das obras, pelo qual procura-se sublinhar os sintomas de um tempo (Didi-Huberman, 2008, 2010) que elas permitem entrever: os elementos que se repetem na cultura, como traumas, modos de sofrer, subjetivar e criar. Por meio da leitura do entrelaçamento das dimensões simbólica, imaginária e real das obras (os três registros propostos por Lacan, 2007), lança-se reflexões sobre o sujeito e o estrangeiro em suas dimensões inextrincavelmente subjetivas e sociais. São interrogadas algumas lógicas identitárias, espaciais e temporais enrijecidas, responsáveis por exclusões e apagamentos históricos. As criações de Ai Weiwei, como concluído a partir da leitura psicanalítica das mesmas, atentam não só para questões relativas à atual crise global de refugiados, mas sinalizam ditos e não-ditos de momentos históricos outros, restos que demandam escuta e elaboração, apontando horizontes de transformação social e política.

Abstract: This dissertation analyzes and discusses about some of Ai Weiwei's artistic creations concerning the current refugee crisis. Being guided by psychoanalytic theory, method and ethics, the works of art are listened in their singular dimensions, peering into their aesthetic, political and utopian aspects. The floating attention method of reading works is used in order to research the symptoms of a time (Didi-Huberman, 2008, 2010), allowing to glimpse: the elements that are repeated in culture, such as traumas, ways of suffering, subjectify and create. Through the reading of the interweaving of the symbolic, imaginary and real dimensions of the works (the three records proposed by Lacan, 2007), reflections on the subject and the foreigner are launched in their inextricably subjective and social dimensions. Interrogates some identity logics, spatial and temporal hardened, responsible for historical exclusions and deletions. Ai Weiwei's creations, as concluded from their psychoanalytical reading, pay attention not only to issues related to the current refugee crisis, but signal what has been said and unspoken from other historical moments, remains that demand listening and elaboration, pointing out horizons of social and political transformation.
