Upcycling: Livro infantil para sensibilização dos impactos socioambientais da indústria têxtil

Abstract

A partir da pesquisa sobre a necessidade de conscientização dos processos de produção têxtil e seus impactos socioambientais foi idealizado um livro infantil com informações sobre a origem do algodão com a intenção de sensibilizar crianças a partir de seis anos de idade. O presente artigo tem como função detalhar as causas, os processos e a finalidade pretendida com a idealização do mesmo. A pesquisa foi embasada no método do duplo diamante e as atividades a partir dela seguiram parâmetros estabelecidos durante as aulas de Metodologia de Projeto do curso de Design de Produto UFSC, durante o segundo semestre de 2018. O norte do projeto foi ás questões sobre os impactos da indústria têxtil e como apresentar de forma lúdica informações acerca da moda para crianças de seis anos. Além de informar o livro também conta com moldes de peças para a criação de roupas de bonecas por meio da reutilização de retalhos.

From the research on the need to raise awareness of the process of textile production and its social and environmental impacts, a children's book with information about the origin of the cotton was designed with the intention of sensitizing six-year-old children. And the present article has as function to detail the causes, the process and the intended purpose with the idealization of the same. The research was based on the double diamond method and the activities from it followed parameter established during the Design Methodology classes of the UFSC product design course during the second semester of 2018. The north of the project was the questions about the impacts of the textile industry and how to playfully present information about fashion for children of six years. Besides informing the book also has molds of pieces for the creation of clothes of dolls through the reutilization of flaps.
