Movimento dândi como contributo ao consumo sustentável da moda em brechós

Abstract

Este artigo busca compreender de que forma o movimento dândi pode contribuir para o consumo sustentável da moda em brechós. A reflexão parte de um diagnóstico preocupante no que diz respeito ao consumo e descarte atual da moda em nossa sociedade, sendo estruturada a partir da revisão bibliográfica dos conceitos de moda, brechó e consumo sustentável. A discussão se organiza a partir do entendimento do movimento dândi e suas principais características, bem como o desenvolvimento de seis argumentos teóricos que demonstram o contributo existente deste no consumo da moda de forma sustentável em brechós. Infere-se, por fim, que há uma aproximação teórica entre o dandismo e o consumo de moda relevante na busca de novas soluções para a degradação ambiental ocasionado no ciclo de consumo e descarte de produtos de moda.

This article seeks to understand how the dandy movement can contribute to the sustainable consumption of fashion in thrift stores. The reflection starts from a worrying diagnosis regarding the consumption and current discard of fashion in our society, being structured from the bibliographical review of the concepts of fashion, thrift stores and sustainable consumption. The discussion is organized from the understanding of the Dandy movement and its main characteristics, as well as the development of six theoretical arguments that demonstrate the existing contribution of this in the consumption of fashion in a sustainable way in thrift stores. Finally, it is inferred that there is a theoretical approximation between dandyism and relevant fashion consumption in the search for new solutions for the environmental degradation occasioned in the cycle of consumption and discard of fashion products.
