A importância da eficiência no uso da água para a viabilidade técnica e econômica de edifícios comerciais Net Zero Água

Abstract

Em resposta à falta de água e de saneamento básico que atinge regiões no Brasil e no mundo, os edifícios Net Zero Água surgem para minimizar o impacto no meio ambiente com a não utilização de água da rede local. O estudo analisou o consumo de água de um edifício com três vazões de metais e louças: Padrão de Mercado, LEED e Eficiente em duas cidades com precipitações distintas a fim de se comprovar a viabilidade de um edifício comercial para se tornar Net Zero Água. A pesquisa contemplou a revisão de edifícios eficientes, edifício de estudo, área de captação de água, precipitação e consumo de água. Demonstrou-se que um edifício eficiente não custa mais que o tradicional e se comprovou que a eficiência no uso da água viabiliza a execução de edificações com autossuficiência hídrica sendo peça chave para a viabilidade técnica e econômica de empreendimentos Net Zero Água.

In response to the lack of water and basic sanitation that reaches regions in Brazil and the world, Net Zero Water buildings arise to minimize the impact on the environment by not using water from the local network. The study analyzed the water consumption of a building with three volumes of metals and dishes: Market Standard, LEED and Efficient in two cities with different precipitations in order to prove the viability of a commercial building to become Net Zero Water. The research included the review of efficient buildings, study building, water catchment area, precipitation and water consumption. It has been demonstraded that an efficient building costs no more than the traditional one and it has been proven that the efficiency in the use of the water enables the execution of buildings with water self-sufficiency being the key piece for the technical and economic viability of Net Zero Water projects.
