Balanço econômico da produção de alho na microrregião de Curitibanos-SC

Abstract

A cultura do alho é de extrema importância na microrregião de Curitibanos, em Santa Catarina, tanto economicamente quanto socialmente. No entanto, é uma cultura de alto valor agregado e de alta instabilidade com relação à qualidade e preço entre uma safra e outra. O objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar o balanço econômico da produção do alho para determinar os custos fixos e variáveis da produção do alho em uma propriedade rural na safra 2019/2020 e identificar os fatores responsáveis pela diminuição do lucro da produção do alho. Através disto, foi possível identificar quais os custos que mais impactam na produção do alho e como melhorá-los. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que a mão de obra e encargos trabalhistas juntamente com as sementes foram os custos mais onerosos durante a safra 2019/2020 do alho, e que a produtividade aliada com o preço de venda pode tornar a atividade atrativa do ponto de vista lucrativo ao produtor rural. Os custos fixos totais na propriedade foram de R$ 24.193,69, e os custos variáveis totais foram de R$ 72.077,35, totalizando um custo total de R$ 96.271,04. Como a receita bruta foi de R$ 124.370,00, obteve-se um lucro de R$ 28.098,96 para o produtor na safra de 2019/2020.

The culture of garlic is extremely important in the micro-region of Curitibanos, in Santa Catarina, both economically and socially. However, it is a culture with high added value and high instability about to quality and price between one crop and another. The objective of this undergraduate thesis was to carry out the economic balance of garlic production on the crop 2019/2020 to determine the fixed and variable costs of garlic production in a rural property and to identify the factors responsible for the decrease in the profit of garlic production. Through this, it was possible to identify which costs have the greatest impact on garlic production and how to improve them. The results obtained showed that labor and charges together with seeds were the most costly costs during the garlic 2019/2020 crop, and that if productivity combined with the sale price can make the activity attractive from the profitable point of view to the producer rural. The total fixed costs on the property were R$ 24.193,69, and the total variable costs were R$ 72.077,35, totaling a total cost of R$ 96.271,04. As the gross revenue was R$ 124.370,00, a profit of R$ 28.098,96 was obtained for the producer in the 2019/2020 crop.
