Os saberes-poderes que atravessam o parto: as narrativas de doulas que atuam no hospital-escola de Florianópolis/SC

Abstract

Este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar os saberes que atravessam oparto a partir das narrativas de doulas que atuam no sistema público deFlorianópolis/SC. O estudo foi motivado pela atuação da autora, comoassistente social, e inquietações vivenciadas durante a ResidênciaIntegrada Multiprofissional em Saúde (RIMS/UFSC) na maternidade deum Hospital-Escola de Florianópolis/SC. Ali, os conflitos e sobreposiçãoentre os saberes eram recorrentes, sendo a mediação entre eles delicada.Entendemos, a partir de Michel Foucault (1987) que os saberes sãoconstruções sociais, não são neutros, são políticos e possuem sua gêneseem relações de poder. Esta é uma pesquisa empírica, qualitativa esustentada pela epistemiologia feminista e estudos de Michel Foucault.Os resultados apontaram a invisibilidade dos saberes das mulheres nocontexto dos modelos obstétricos, sendo esse quadro ainda mais agravadoquando associado à intersecção de gênero, raça/etnia, classe,incapacitismo e geração. Identificamos um gradiente de saberes presentesnas narrativas das doulas estabelecidos nessa ordem: científico, feminino,natureza e espiritual, com primazia ao primeiro. Esses saberes, comdestaque para o científico, remetem a uma hierarquia entre doulas emulheres-gestantes/puérperas, dando espaço para relações de assimetria.Ademais, identificamos um conjunto de conflitos entre as doulasentrevistadas, sendo a gourmetização do parto humanizado, associadoà lógica comercial e seletiva, um destaque. As tensões entre as doulas noslevou a denominar Movimentos de Doulas no plural, para sublinhar adiversidade de mulheres, posições e orientações no Grupo, com aprojeção de seus conflitos.

Abstract : This work had as objective to analyze the knowledge that cross thedelivery from the narratives of doulas that act in the public system ofFlorianópolis / SC. The study was motivated by the author's role as asocial worker and concerns during the Multiprofessional IntegratedResidency in Health (RIMS / UFSC) in the maternity ward of a Hospital-School in Florianópolis / SC. There, the conflicts and overlap between theknowledges were recurrent, mediation between them being delicate. Weunderstand, from Michel Foucault (1987) that knowledge is socialconstructs, are not neutral, are political and have their genesis in relationsof power. This is an empirical research, qualitative and sustained byfeminist epistemology and studies by Michel Foucault. The resultspointed to the invisibility of women's knowledge in the context ofobstetrical models, which is even more aggravated when associated withthe intersection of gender, race / ethnicity, class, disability and generation.We identified a gradient of knowledge present in the narratives of doulasestablished in this order: scientific, feminine, nature and spiritual, withprimacy to the first. These knowledges, with emphasis on the scientific,refer to a hierarchy between doulas and women-pregnant / puerperalwomen, giving space for asymmetric relationships. In addition, weidentified a set of conflicts between the doulas interviewed, being the\"gourmetization\" of humanized childbirth, associated with commercialand selective logic, a highlight. The tensions between the doulas led us todenominate Doulas 'Movements' in the plural, to underline the diversityof women, positions and orientations in the Group, with the projection oftheir conflicts.
