Família, marxismo e serviço social: desvendando o involúcro místico

Abstract

A presente tese busca aprofundar o estudo em torno da categoria família, com base nos fundamentos teórico-metodológicos do Serviço Social na contemporaneidade. O objetivo da tese é analisar como as tendências teórico-metodológicas se expressam na particularidade da profissão, influenciando a produção do conhecimento e o trabalho profissional com indivíduos e família. Para tanto, realizamos uma pesquisa com fontes bibliográficas, ancorada na perspectiva do materialismo histórico dialético. A pesquisa centrou-se na análise sobre a mediação familiar atividade/técnica/metodologia requisitada às assistentes sociais inseridas na área Sociojurídica; bem como a análise da produção teórica sobre o trabalho social com famílias (TSF) na Política Nacional de Assistência Social (PNAS). Partimos do entendimento de que, no que tange à produção bibliográfica sobre a família, persiste uma lacuna no que diz respeito ao enfrentamento da apreensão da instituição família como categoria teórica e/ou objeto de pesquisa na tradição marxista. Pressupomos que esse vazio diz respeito a uma vinculação sócio-política com o conservadorismo. Uma das conclusões é de que ao ser tratada em sua generalidade, a família vem sendo considerada por boa parte dos profissionais como a base da sociedade . Por isso a ênfase das ações profissionais na formação social, moral e intelectual da família. Busca-se no âmbito da família, a partir de sua história, os elementos que explicam os comportamentos individuais e as situações que os indivíduos estão enfrentando. Nessa direção, elege-se a família como instituição de referência para compreender a realidade em detrimento das determinações da estrutura social, do sistema do capital, das classes sociais para o foco nas relações , donde só pode resultar na psicologização e moralização dos indivíduos e suas famílias. Tal cenário nos desafia a avançar no fortalecimento da direção social assumida, e elaborar estratégias sociopolíticas profissionais adequadas para responder às problemáticas emergentes.

Abstract : The present thesis seeks to deepen the study around the family category, based on the theoretical-methodological foundations of the Social Service in the contemporaneity. The aim of the thesis is to analyze how the theoretical-methodological tendencies are expressed in the particularity of the profession, influencing the knowledge production and the professional work with individuals and family. For this, we carried out a research with bibliographical sources, anchored in the perspective of dialectical historical materialism. The research focused on the analysis of family mediation - activity / technique / methodology required of social workers inserted in the Socio-juridical area; as well as the analysis of the theoretical production on social work with families (TSF) in the National Social Assistance Policy (PNAS). We start from the understanding that, regarding the bibliographic production about the family, a \"gap\" persists regarding the confrontation of the seizure of the family institution as a theoretical category and / or object of research in the Marxist tradition. We assume that this \"emptiness\" refers to a socio-political link with conservatism. One of the conclusions is that when treated in its generality, the family has been considered by many professionals as the 'base of society'. Hence the emphasis of professional actions on the social, moral and intellectual formation of the family. In the context of the family, the elements that explain the individual behaviors and the situations that the individuals are facing are searched within the family. In this direction, when choosing the family as a reference institution to understand reality, we move from the determinations of social structure, from the capital system, from social classes to the focus on 'relationships', where it can only result in the psychologization and moralization of individuals and their families. Such a scenario challenges us to move forward in strengthening the assumed social direction, and to devise appropriate socio-political strategies to respond to emerging issues.
