Crítica da razão matemática: uma análise do objeto da geometria

Abstract

A presente investigação, na modalidade teórica, teve como objetivo compreender a gênese, os nexos e a estrutura do objeto da Geometria, a fim de contribuir para o avanço das discussões acerca dessa temática. A partir de preocupações com a compreensão da relação entre a Matemática e a realidade material, surgiu a necessidade de entender a natureza do conhecimento geométrico e sua respectiva relação com a realidade física. A pergunta norteadora da pesquisa se traduz no seguinte questionamento: O objeto da Geometria é uma forma a priori da sensibilidade humana ou é inerente à realidade física? A referência inicial é a definição, pela literatura, de que o objeto da Geometria é as formas espaciais e as relações dos corpos físicos, abstraindo-se as demais propriedades. Defendemos a tese de que o objeto da Geometria se constitui como um reflexo e não uma parte constitutiva da realidade física ou uma forma a priori da sensibilidade humana. Para tanto, a análise requereu aprofundamentos referentes a quatro pontos que se pressupõem essenciais: (1) considerações onto-metodológicas; (2) discussão sobre matéria e consciência; (3) estudo da relação entre a Matemática e a realidade material; e (4) aprofundamento sobre o ser da Geometria. No processo de análise, demonstra-se, com base na dialética materialista, que a Geometria é a expressão ideal do movimento real da matéria, das leis físicas que regem tal movimento. Seu objeto se constitui no processo de abstração necessário à compreensão dessa realidade, uma vez que ele se encontra na mediação entre a realidade física e as formas de reflexo, ou seja, encontra-se na práxis do conhecimento.<br>

Abstract : This theoretical research aims to understand the genesis, the connections and the structure of the object of geometry in order to contribute to the progress of discussions on this theme. From concerns about the understanding of the relationship between mathematics and material reality, came the need to understand the nature of geometric knowledge and its relationship to physical reality. The research question is: The object of geometry is an a priori form of human sensibility or is inherent in the physical reality? The initial reference is the definition, in the literature, that the object of geometry is the spatial forms and relations of physical bodies, abstracting from other properties. We defend the thesis that the object of geometry is constituted as a reflection and not a constituent part of physical reality or a priori form of human sensibility. For this purpose, the analysis required insights regarding the four points which require essential: (1) onto-methodological considerations; (2) discussion about matter and consciousness; (3) study of the relationship between mathematics and physical reality; (4) deepening about being of Geometry. In the process of analysis, it is demonstrated, on the basis of dialectical materialism, that geometry is the ideal expression of the real movement of matter, the physical laws that govern such movement. Its object is the abstraction process need to understand this reality, since it is the mediation between physical reality and forms of reflection, that is, lies in the practice of knowledge.
