Uma arqueologia das relações entre o Minnesang e a Literatura de Cordel: aproximações e distanciamentos

Abstract

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi construir uma arqueologia das relações entre o Minnesang e a Literatura de Cordel. Trata-se, portanto, de um estudo comparativo entre textos pertencentes a estas duas tipologias literárias, a saber, as canções de minne e os folhetos de cordel. Para tanto, situamos, primeiramente, o ambiente em que se desenvolveram tais manifestações literárias ? seu contexto social, político e histórico. Nesse sentido, foi de extrema relevância explicitar o que se entende pela noção de amor cortês e de minne. Em seguida, apresentamos os nossos corpora e fornecemos um quadro geral que contempla os aspectos estruturais da canção e do folheto, sobretudo, considerando o plano da expressão (formas) e do conteúdo (temas). Este trabalho justifica-se, dada a importância e o alcance da canção de minne para a literatura de língua alemã e do folheto de cordel para a literatura de língua portuguesa, além do impacto da concepção amorosa cortês ao longo do tempo, reverberando até os dias de hoje. Discorremos, também, sobre as abordagens metodológicas que acreditamos ser as mais adequadas ao exame de nosso objeto de estudo: a Literatura Comparada, bem como a Teoria da Residualidade. A posição do comparatista é aquela de quem se encontra nas fronteiras entre duas literaturas, muitas vezes, acompanhando a mudança de temas, ideias e sentimentos, que é precisamente o que se verifica neste trabalho, ao examinarmos a temática amorosa. Além disso, aqui, mais especificamente, buscamos identificar, na construção de nossa arqueologia de relações entre Minnesang e Literatura de Cordel, os ?resíduos? do medieval que se acumularam e que ainda se refletem nos textos. Foram significativas as contribuições de Régnier-Bohler, Câmara Cascudo, Marc Bloch, Georges Duby, Roberto Pontes e Günther Schweikle nesta pesquisa. Por fim, dedicamo-nos ao cotejo de três canções de minne compostas por Walther von der Vogelweide com três folhetos de cordel elaborados por Leandro Gomes de Barros, com o intuito de revelarmos em que medida as obras analisadas se aproximam ou se afastam no tocante ao tratamento do tema amor.

The objective of this research was to construct an archaeology of the relationships between Minnesang and Cordel Literature. Thus, it is a comparative study between texts belonging to these two literary types, namely minne songs and cordel pamphlets. In order to do so, we first situated the environment in which these literary manifestations developed4their social, political, and historical context. In this sense, it was extremely important to explain what the notions of courtly love and minne mean. Next, we present our corpora and provide an overview that covers the structural aspects of the song and the pamphlet, especially considering the level of expression (forms) and content (themes). This work is justified by the importance and scope of minne songs for German-language literature and cordel leaflets for Portuguese-language literature, as well as the impact of the concept of courtly love over time, which continues to reverberate to this day. We also discuss the methodological approaches that we believe to be most appropriate for examining our object of study: Comparative Literature, as well as the Theory of Residuality. The position of the comparatist is that of someone who finds themselves on the border between two literatures, often following the change in themes, ideas, and feelings, which is precisely what we find in this work when examining the theme of love. Furthermore, we specifically seek to identify, in the construction of our archaeology of the relationship between Minnesang and Cordel Literature, the <residues= of the medieval period that have accumulated and are still reflected in the texts. The contributions of Régnier-Bohler, Câmara Cascudo, Marc Bloch, Georges Duby, Roberto Pontes, and Günther Schweikle were significant in this research. Finally, we compare three minne songs composed by Walther von der Vogelweide with three cordel pamphlets written by Leandro Gomes de Barros, with the aim of revealing the extent to which the works analyzed are similar or different in their treatment of the theme of love.
