Ecofeminimo e direito à cidade: as mulheres da agricultura urbana na Grande Florianópolis

Abstract

As problemáticas e os desafios que nos cercam desvelam a crise sistêmica de nossa sociedade. Assim, clama-se por alternativas anticapitalistas, que possibilitam a emergência de novos tempos e modos de viver, de interagir com os outros, com o espaço e a cidade. É, nesse sentido, que desponta este trabalho: procurando investigar e desvelar como as atividades e o engajamento das mulheres da agricultura urbana da Grande Florianópolis estão alinhadas com os ideais ecofeministas e com o direito à cidade por meio de três eixos: corpo, cotidiano e espaço-território. Tomando como base metodologias feministas, a história de vida e o discurso do sujeito coletivo realizamos entrevistas com mulheres que participam dos movimentos de agricultura urbana com o intuito de compreender suas perspectivas localizadas. O estudo revelou que essas mulheres conformam um grupo heterogêneo, com diferentes graus de engajamento em movimentos sociais, demostrando que o trabalho que parte delas desenvolve desponta como alternativa contra hegemônica e ecofeminista. É sob essa perspectiva que as mulheres da agricultura urbana da Grande Florianópolis, por meio de seus corpos-territórios na agroecologia, estão envolvidas na construção de uma perspectiva de cidade renovada, ecofeminista, lutando por uma vida urbana transformada pelo reestabelecimento do metabolismo humanidade-natureza.

Abstract: The problems and challenges that surround us today reveal a systemic crisis of our society. Thus, there is a constant clamor for anti-capitalist alternatives, which enable the emergence of new times and ways of living, of interacting with others, the space, and the city. It is in this sense that this work emerges, seeking to investigate and unveil how the activities and engagement of women in urban agriculture in Florianopolis are aligned with ecofeminist ideals and the right to the city through three axes: body, everyday life and space-territory. This dissertation has its framework based on feminist methodologies, Life History and the Discourse of the Collective Subject. In this regard, we conducted interviews with women who participate in urban agriculture movements in order to understand their situated perspectives. The outcome reveals that these women embodied a heterogeneous group, with different degrees of engagement in social movements. Hence, the activities and the work they develop in such groups disclose an alternative that are counter-hegemonic and ecofeminist. From this perspective the women of urban agriculture movements, through the work of their body- territories in agroecology, are engaged in building a renewed ecofeminist city, fighting to reshape urban life by restoring the humanity-nature metabolism.
