Oscillons em teorias de campo com potenciais não-analíticos

Abstract

Abstract : In this work we study some properties of models with non analytic potential, where we put emphasis in the signum-Gordon model. We present the physical context in which these models are studied, beggining with a mechanical motivation e ending up in a submodel from the Skyrme model. The main part of this work covers the numerical analysis of oscillon dynamics non topological solutions with finite energy. We show that oscillons develop a major role in the formation of radiation an energy excess emission in perturbed systems. Our numerical results give support to the idea that radiation in the signum-Gordon model has a fractal nature.
