Roubos e furtos em Florianópolis: análise do movimento espacial e temporal

Abstract

Este trabalho é fruto de uma parceria entre o Núcleo Interdisciplinar em Políticas Públicas (NIPP) e a Gerência de Estatística e Análise Criminal (GEAC) da Secretaria de Estado da Segurança Pública de Santa Catarina (SSP/SC) para análise dos dados de furtos e roubos processados pela GEAC. Esse estudo tem como objetivo analisar a variação espacial e temporal dos registros de roubos no período 2011 a 2016 e furtos no período 2013 a 2016 da cidade de Florianópolis e também estabelecer uma associação com a pesquisa “Violências e Sensação de Segurança no Ambiente de Campi Universitários” realizada pelo NIPP. Nessa associação, procuramos realizar uma análise comparativa entre a Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) e o bairro Trindade utilizando os registros de roubos fornecidos pela GEAC. Com os resultados foi possível notar que a ligação que os eventos de roubos e os furtos têm em comum é o fato de ambos possuírem as maiores ocorrências no Centro da cidade, fora isso eles possuem tendências distintas. Quando analisado o furto pode ser observado que o período de mais ocorrências é o verão. Já o roubo não apresentou uma tendência mensal ou sazonal, mas pode ser notado que os maiores registros são à noite. No estudo comparativo entre UFSC e Trindade, verificou-se que as ocorrências de roubos na UFSC correspondem de 19% a 42% das ocorrências da Trindade e que metade dos crimes registrados no turno madrugada na Trindade são na UFSC.

This work is the result of a partnership between the Núcleo Interdisciplinar em Políticas Públicas (NIPP) and the Statistics and Criminal Analysis Management (GEAC) of the State Secretary of Public Security of Santa Catarina (SSP / SC) for analysis of theft and robbery processed by GEAC. This study aims to analyze the spatial and temporal variation of the robbery records in the period from 2011 to 2016 and theft in the period 2013 to 2016 of in the city of Florianopolis and also establish an association with the research "Violence and Sensation of Safety in the Environment of Campuses University" conducted by NIPP. In this association, we attempt to perform a comparative analysis between the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and the Trindade neighborhood using the robbery records provided by GEAC. With the results it was possible to notice that one connection the events of robberies and thefts have in common is the fact that both have the highest occurrences in the downtown area, otherwise they have different tendencies. When analyzed the theft can be observed to have a higher rate of occurence during the Summer period. Since robbery did not show a monthly or seasonal trend, but it may be noted that the highest records are at night. In the comparative study between UFSC and Trindade, it was seen that the occurrences of robberies in the UFSC correspond to 19% to 42% of Trindade occurrences and that half of the crimes recorded in the Trindade dawn shift are in UFSC.
