Singularidades em tempos pós-modernos: Pela noite, de Caio Fernando Abreu e Camere Separate, de Pier Vittorio Tondelli

Abstract

Esta dissertação pretende refletir sobre o embate entre os conceitos de singularidade e de pós-modernidade, a partir da trajetória dos personagens de Pela Noite (1983), do autor brasileiro Caio Fernando Abreu (1948-1996), e de Camere Separate (1989), do autor italiano Pier Vittorio Tondelli (1955-1991). Uma vez que as obras foram elaboradas na década de 1980, mas em contextos geográficos diversos, o estudo comparativo proposto pretende evidenciar a relevância do tema como uma questão que ultrapassa o local e se instaura como característica global. Para analisar estas tensões e armar uma conjuntura crítica foi necessário perpassar pelas ideias de diversos intelectuais os quais refletiram sobre a teoria da pós-modernidade e sobre a ideia de singularidade, dentre outras vertentes que tocam a problemática central. O fluxo deste trabalho se estrutura, portanto, tanto na análise das narrativas que compõem o corpus quanto nas reflexões estimuladas por estudiosos como Fredric Jameson, Giorgio Agamben, Jean Baudrillard, Jean-François Lyotard, Jean-Luc Nancy, Linda Hutcheon, Silviano Santiago, Stuart Hall, dentre outros. <br>

Abstract : This work intends to reflect on the clash between the concepts of singularity and postmodernity, from the trajectory of the characteres of Pela Noite (1983), narrative written by brazilian author Caio Fernando Abreu (1948-1996), and Camere Separate (1989), written by italian author Pier Vittorio Tondelli (1955-1991). Once the works were developed in the 1980s, but in different geographical contexts, the proposed comparative study aims to highlight the importance of the topic as na issue that goes beyond the site and is established as a global characteristic. To analyze these tensions and arming a critical juncturehad to pervade the ideas of many intellectuals wich reflected on the theory of postmodernity and the ideia of singularity, among other aspects that touch the central issue. The flow of this work is structured, therefore, both in the analysis of the narratives that make up the corpus as the reflections stimulated by scholars as Fredric Jameson, Giorgio Agamben, Jean Baudrillard, Jean-François Lyotard, Jean-Luc Nancy, Linda Hutcheon, Silviano Santiago, Stuart Hall, among others.
