Biblioteca escolar para todos: aplicação da nbr9050

Abstract

Averiguação da NBR 9050:2004 (Acessibilidade a edificações, mobiliário, espaços e equipamentos urbanos) na Escola Estadual Básica Getúlio Vargas. O objetivo da pesquisa foi identificar se a biblioteca escolar selecionada está preparada estruturalmente para atender aos alunos com deficiência. A metodologia adotada para responder aos objetivos definidos foi o método comparativo, classificada como uma pesquisa descritiva e de cunho qualitativo. Para a coleta de dados foram utilizados sete quadros com a finalidade de comparar a norma com o espaço físico da biblioteca e das rotas traçadas de acordo com o layout da escola, para verificar se o aluno com deficiência consegue chegar de qualquer edificação até a porta da biblioteca.. A fundamentação teórica aborda os conceitos e tipos de deficiência, as dificuldades encontradas pela pessoa com deficiente no espaço físico e social; indica a biblioteca como centro de inclusão social; aborda as principais politicas para a educação inclusiva; e apresenta a Norma 9050 de acessibilidade a edificações, mobiliário, espaços e equipamentos urbanos. Os resultados discorrem sobre a analise dos quadros, apontando as deficiências estruturais na biblioteca e nas rotas, sugerindo a adequação a norma em alguns pontos observados e ressaltando os aspectos que se encontram dentro da norma.

Investigation of NBR 9050: 2004 (Accessibility to buildings, furniture, spaces and urban facilities) at the State Primary School Getúlio Vargas. The objectives of the survey was to identify whether the selected school library is structurally prepared to serve students with disabilities. The methodology adopted to meet the defined objectives adopted a comparative method, classified as a descriptive and qualitative approach research. For data collection were used seven frames for the purpose of comparing the norm with the physical space of the library and routes drawn in accordance with the school layout to see if the student with disabilities can get from any building to the door of library. Based on two stages, the first to analyze the library and the second to analyze the routes outlined in the educational institution. The theoretical framework deals with the concepts and types of disability, the difficulties encountered by the poor in the physical and social space; indicates the library as a center for social inclusion; It addresses the key policies for inclusive education; and presents the 9050 standard of accessibility to buildings, furniture, spaces and urban facilities. The results discourse on the analysis of the pictures, pointing out the structural weaknesses in the library and on the routes, suggesting the suitability standard in some observed points and highlighting the aspects that are within the norm.
