Odontoeducação: uma abordagem multidisciplinar

Abstract

Odontoeducação é um projeto multidisciplinar que visa a promoção çle saúde bucal da criança e do adolescente, desenvolvido numa visão de educação continuada, com atendimento em clínicas odontológicas, escolas, creches, com amplo envolvimento familiar. O Projeto utiliza-se de multimeios variados. Considera-se que a intensificação do uso da tecnologia possibilitará a disseminação da proposta em caráter nacional. Espera-se com a Odontoeducação, contribuir para o efetivo direito constitucional do cidadão, que é a “saúde geral, começando pela boca” e com isso resgatar sua tão falada, mas não oportunizada “cidadania”.

ABSTRACT: Dental education is a multidisciplinary project that seeks the promotion of the child's and of the adolescent buccal health, developed in a vision of continuous education, with service in dental clinics, schools, daycares, with wide family involvement. The project uses a variety of médias. It is considered that the intensification of use of technology will make possible the increase the amplitude of the proposal in national character In adopting Dental education we hope to contribute for the implementation of citizens rights as stated in Brazilian Constitution, that is “general health, beginning by buccal health”, and in doing so to establish the so called but never actualized “citizenship”.
