A raiz te põe forte: poéticas quilombolas no alinhavar de famílias, festas e ancestralidade no Quilombo de Pinhões

Abstract

Esta tese pretende tatear poéticas quilombolas no seu alinhavar das famílias, festas e ancestralidade no Quilombo de Pinhões. Localizado na região metropolitana de Belo Horizonte ? Minas Gerais, mais especificamente no município de Santa Luzia, o Quilombo de Pinhões tem suas origens atribuídas ao início do século XVIII, quando da construção do Mosteiro de Macaúbas em região limítrofe à Sesmaria de Bicas. Nas extremas entre as duas sesmarias as famílias fazem raízes na tecitura de ?linhas de fuga?, evocando, em movências festivas, o Quilombo. Nos propusemos a acompanhar os cotidianos de mulheres quilombolas, amigas e interlocutoras de pesquisa, em seus modos de não se deixar capturar. A partir da noção de famílias raízes acionada pelas quilombolas orientamos nossa atenção para as raízes em seus arranjos de feitura e relações entre famílias, festas e ancestralidade. No Quilombo de Pinhões, as raízes carregam um conjunto de práticas, relações e memórias produzidas e atualizadas no alinhavo de fazer família e fazer festa, compondo movências em curvas, desenhos espirais ? de tempo, território e ancestralidade. O quilombo de Pinhões, a partir das raízes, criativamente, promove modos de vida e relação insurgentes diante de modulações colonialistas forjadas no tempo da escravidão e atualizadas nos arranjos dos chamados ?projetos de desenvolvimento?. Pretendemos, assim, compor, junto às poéticas quilombolas, compreensões sobre as relacionalidades evocadas pelas raízes em suas alianças com as famílias, as festas e a ancestralidade na feitura do Quilombo.

Abstract: This thesis seeks to explore quilombola poetics in the weaving of families, celebrations, and ancestry in the Quilombo of Pinhões. Located in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais?more specifically in the municipality of Santa Luzia?Pinhões traces its origins back to the early 18th century, around the time of the construction of the Monastery of Macaúbas, near the Sesmaria de Bicas. On the borders between these two sesmarias, families laid down roots through what can be seen as ?lines of flight,? evoking the quilombo through festive movements. We set out to accompany the daily lives of quilombola women?friends and research interlocutors?observing their ways of resisting capture. Drawing from the notion of famílias raízes (rooted families), a term used by the quilombolas themselves, our focus turns to the crafting of roots and the relationships that interweave families, festivities, and ancestry. In the Quilombo of Pinhões, roots carry a set of practices, relationships, and memories that are continually produced and renewed through the acts of making family and making festivity, shaping movements in curves and spiral patterns?of time, territory, and ancestry. Through these roots, the Quilombo of Pinhões creatively fosters insurgent ways of life and relation in the face of colonialist modulations?first forged during the era of slavery and now perpetuated by so-called ?development projects.? In this thesis, we aim to compose, alongside quilombola poetics, understandings of the relationalities invoked by roots in their alliances with families, festivities, and ancestry in the making of the Quilombo.
