Author: FERROLI, PAULO CESAR MACHADO; LIBRELOTTO, LISIANE ILHA; SANTOS, Clarissa Armando dos
Abstract: Furniture design of is an area in constant evolution in Design science. Currently, one of the most relevant issues is the assembling process. Due to changes in social behavior, many consumers prefer to carry out the assembly process by themselves. This requires a new approach in the design of furniture, involving and integrating three Design currents: Product Design, Industrial Design and Graphic Design. This paper presents some techniques to address this issue concerning teaching strategies on Furniture Design.
