Abstract:

This article investigates the organizational knowledge assets that influence the implementation of comprehensive internationalization in Community Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Santa Catarina, Brazil. Using a quantitative approach, the study identifies that elements such as formal internationalization policies, faculty qualification, research infrastructure, and academic mobility programs are crucial for successful internationalization. The study employs multiple regression analysis on data collected from 14 HEI managers, highlighting the importance of financial support and the international recognition of courses to strengthen the institutions' international presence. The results suggest that comprehensive internationalization requires a strategic integration between institutional policies and strategic investments, which are the knowledge assets that promote an organizational culture oriented towards internationalization and global competitiveness. |
