Sarilhos: o reconhecimento do bem como patrimônio imbitubense

Abstract

As profundas transformações do sistema econômico, as novas formas de trabalho, a dinâmica do fluxo das pessoas, produzem transformações econômicas, sociais e culturais no território. Desse modo, as comunidades pesqueiras perdem seu espaço de reprodução, os laços com suas práticas tradicionais e, estando vulneráveis, ficam sujeitas ao desaparecimento. O objeto deste estudo são os sarilhos, guinchos artesanais para elevação das canoas, estruturas presentes na pesca artesanal da comunidade local da lagoa de Ibiraquera. A Lagoa de Ibiraquera fica localizada no litoral sul de Santa Catarina, sendo a segunda maior lagoa de Imbituba em termos de extensão e sofre influência da Área de Proteção Ambiental da Baleia Franca, nas proximidades de sua barra. Esse trabalho aborda primeiramente a evolução das ações de valorização do patrimônio histórico- cultural, os programas culturais como exercício de direito cultural através de uma análise histórico estrutural. Em seguida, realizou-se uma revisão bibliográfica abordando temas como o lugar comum, o cotidiano, a cultura ordinária e o bem comum. Além disso, analisou-se a história de conflitos no território relacionados à pesca artesanal e suas consequências aos sarilhos da lagoa. Por conseguinte, realizou-se um levantamento das estruturas de pesca da lagoa de Ibiraquera por água e por terra a fim de identificar os locais onde estão inseridos os sarilhos, e catalogou-se as canoas em utilização pelos pescadores locais. Por fim, o trabalho busca reconstituir fragmentos da história representada pelo seu legado material e constituir um instrumento de identificação das estruturas da pesca artesanal nas bordas da lagoa. Desta forma, este trabalho visa suprir a carência de reconhecimento dos sarilhos pelos antigos e novos habitantes como fruto de manifestação cultural importante para a diversidade e identidade locais.

Abstract: The profound transformations of the economic system, new forms of labor, and the dynamic flow of people produce economic, social, and cultural changes in the territory. As a result, local communities lose their space for reproduction, their connections to traditional practices, and, in a vulnerable state, become susceptible to disappearing. The object of this study is the sarilhos, artisanal winches used for hoisting canoes by the local communities at Ibiraquera Lagoon. Located on the southern coast of Santa Catarina, Ibiraquera Lagoon is the second largest lagoon in Imbituba in terms of area and is influenced by the Baleia Franca Environmental Protection Area, situated near its entrance.This work first examines the efforts to value historic and cultural heritage, highlighting cultural programs as exercises in cultural rights through a historical- structural analysis. Subsequently, a literature review was conducted, addressing themes such as the common place, daily life, ordinary culture, and the common good. Additionally, a historical-structural analysis was performed to identify segments of history and territorial conflicts related to artisanal fishing, with a focus on their impact on the sarilhos of the lagoon.The study also involved surveying the fishing structures of Ibiraquera Lagoon by water and land to identify the locations of the sarilhos and cataloging the canoes used by local fishers. Finally, the work seeks to reconstruct fragments of history represented by its material legacy and create a tool for identifying artisanal fishing structures along the lagoon's edges.Thus, this study aims to address the lack of recognition of the sarilhos by both long-standing and newer residents, emphasizing their importance as cultural expressions critical to local diversity and identity.
