Representações sociais de violências para adolescentes em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa em meio aberto

Abstract

A violência é um fenômeno social complexo que incita inúmeros questionamentos na sociedade. A violência estrutural é apontada como causa fundamental das demais formas de violência na sociedade capitalista, sendo fator importante na história de nosso país. Após séculos de escravização e posterior ausência de políticas públicas voltadas para a população negra, os processos de exclusão e extermínio desses sujeitos foram se modificando. Dentre eles estão as práticas de criminalização da pobreza e o grande número de assassinatos de jovens negros pela mão do Estado. Nesse contexto, os adolescentes em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa representam uma parcela dessa juventude, que é vítima constante de violações de direitos. O estudo do fenômeno das violências através das representações sociais compreende as violências como fenômeno empírico anterior ao fenômeno teórico. As representações sociais são um campo de disputa do conhecimento e reivindicação da realidade, que reforçam e denunciam as estruturas de opressão vigentes nos contextos estudados, assim elas não apenas refletem ou informam a realidade, mas também se tornam parte dessa realidade. Portanto, esse estudo teve como objetivo compreender representações sociais das violências para adolescentes em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa em meio aberto, bem como conhecer suas experiências relacionadas às violências e as relações entre ambas. Para isso, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas e questionários sociodemográficos com 15 adolescentes em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa de Prestação de Serviço à Comunidade e Liberdade Assistida, em 3 cidades de porte médio de Santa Catarina (Balneário Camboriú, Itajaí e São José). Foi utilizada a análise de conteúdo de Bardin para análise dos dados, bem como foram utilizados os softwares Atlas.ti e Jamovi para auxílio na organização dos dados em uma análise descritiva simples. Os resultados das entrevistas foram divididos em seis macro categorias, sendo elas: Tipologia, Contexto, Atribuições Causais, Resoluções, Ancoragem e Objetificação, que posteriormente foram discutidas em 3 capítulos \"Adolescentes em cumprimento de medidas socioeducativas: quem são?\", \"Representações Sociais de Violências\" e \"Experiências e a Construção das Representações Sociais de Violências\". O perfil sociodemográfico dos adolescentes em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa entrevistados condiz com a revisão de literatura sobre o tema, demonstrando o recorte da juventude brasileira, negra e periférica que é criminalizada em sua própria existência. Quanto às representações sociais de violências encontradas se destaca a violência física, como também descrevem as demais pesquisas em representações sociais de violência com outros grupos estudados. Já no que se trata das experiências relatadas pelos adolescentes entrevistados, os resultados apontam para a violação de direitos básicos e a violência policial. A análise e discussão dos dados coletados nesta pesquisa nos permitiu retornar constantemente à base da questão histórica e social em torno dos adolescentes estudados, reafirmando as inúmeras violações de direitos fundamentais e violências de Estado às quais esses sujeitos são submetidos, além de representações sociais e estereótipos que reforçam atitudes discriminatórias e de exclusão social direcionadas a eles.

Abstract: Violence is a complex social phenomenon that triggers numerous questions within society. Structural violence is identified as a fundamental cause of other forms of violence in capitalist society, serving as a significant factor in our country's history. After centuries of enslavement and subsequent lack of public policies directed towards the Black population, processes of exclusion and extermination of these individuals have evolved. Among these are the practices of criminalizing poverty and the high number of murders of young Black individuals at the hands of the State. In this context, adolescents undergoing socio-educational measures represent a portion of this youth, constantly subjected to rights violations. The study of the phenomenon of violence through social representations views violence as an empirical phenomenon preceding the theoretical one. Social representations are a field of knowledge dispute and reality assertion, reinforcing and denouncing the prevailing structures of oppression in the studied contexts. Thus, they not only reflect or inform reality but also become a part of that reality. Therefore, this study aimed to understand social representations of violence among adolescents undergoing socio-educational measures in open settings, as well as to explore their experiences related to violence and the relationships between both. To achieve this, semi-structured interviews and sociodemographic questionnaires were conducted with 15 adolescents undergoing socio-educational measures involving Community Service and Assisted Freedom in three medium-sized cities in Santa Catarina (Balneário Camboriú, Itajaí, and São José). Bardin's content analysis was employed to analyze the data, along with the use of software such as Atlas.ti and Jamovi to aid in organizing the data through simple descriptive analysis. The interview results were divided into six overarching categories: Typology, Context, Causal Attribution, Resolutions, Anchoring, and Objectification. These categories were subsequently discussed in three chapters: \"Adolescents Undergoing Socio-Educational Measures: Who Are They?\", \"Social Representations of Violence\", and \"Experiences and the Construction of Social Representations of Violence\". The sociodemographic profile of the interviewed adolescents undergoing socio-educational measures aligns with the literature review on the subject, highlighting the marginalized Brazilian youth ? Black and from peripheral areas ? who are criminalized in their very existence. Regarding the identified social representations of violence, physical violence stands out, consistent with findings from other studies on social representations of violence in different studied groups. As for the experiences reported by the interviewed adolescents, the results indicate violations of basic rights and police violence. The analysis and discussion of the collected data in this research consistently led us back to the foundation of the historical and social issues surrounding the studied adolescents, reaffirming the numerous violations of fundamental rights and state violence to which these individuals are subjected. Additionally, social representations and stereotypes that reinforce discriminatory attitudes and social exclusion towards them were highlighted.
