Da tela da tv às plataformas: análise da narrativa convergente no Balanço Geral da NDTV Record de Itajaí

Abstract

Essa pesquisa buscou analisar a atuação convergente do telejornal local Balanço Geral da NDTV Itajaí na rede social Instagram, e nas plataformas YouTube e Portal ND+, com intuito de criar conexão com o público, a partir da perspectiva dos movimentos convergentes que marcam os processos editoriais contemporâneos, através do jornalismo local. Nesse sentido, propõe-se identificar os possíveis movimentos que a convergência entre as mídias e plataformas vem promovendo, tanto no processo de produção, na escolha dos conteúdos, quanto na apresentação do telejornal local em direção às redes. Para tanto, procedemos à revisão de bibliografia, adoção de metodologias quantitativa e qualitativa e estudo de caso a fim de analisar quais conteúdos são compartilhados nessas plataformas e de que forma são feitas as publicações. Os resultados apontaram que a convergência não apenas potencializa a visibilidade do telejornal, mas também fortalece a construção de uma identidade jornalística local e participativa. Observou-se, porém, que, apesar do grande potencial das redes sociais para ampliar o alcance e a interatividade, essas plataformas ainda são exploradas de forma limitada pelo telejornal, indicando uma oportunidade para ampliar a presença digital e o engajamento com a audiência. Dessa forma, a pesquisa contribui para a compreensão das transformações do jornalismo regional diante da expansão das plataformas digitais.

Abstract: This research aimed to analyze the convergent performance of the local news program Balanço Geral from NDTV Itajaí on the social network Instagram and the platforms YouTube and Portal ND+, with the purpose of creating a connection with the audience, from the perspective of the convergent movements that characterize contemporary editorial processes through local journalism. In this sense, the study proposes to identify the possible movements that the convergence between media and platforms has been promoting, both in the production process, content selection, and the presentation of the local newscast towards the networks. To this end, a literature review, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and a case study were adopted to analyze which contents are shared on these platforms and how the publications are made. The results pointed out that convergence not only enhances the visibility of the newscast but also strengthens the construction of a local and participatory journalistic identity. However, it was observed that, despite the great potential of social networks to expand reach and interactivity, these platforms are still explored in a limited way by the newscast, indicating an opportunity to expand digital presence and audience engagement. Thus, the research contributes to the understanding of the transformations in regional journalism in light of the expansion of digital platforms.
