Representações sociais de lactantes sobre a influência da rede de apoio social no processo da amamentação

Abstract

Objetivo: conhecer e analisar as representações sociais de lactantes sobre a influência da rede de apoio social no processo de amamentação. Método: trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, tipo exploratório-descritiva, na qual adotou- se como referencial teórico a Teoria das Representações Sociais. Foi realizada com 17 mulheres que amamentaram seus filhos nos últimos 10 anos, no município de Itapema, Santa Catarina, Brasil. A coleta de dados foi realizada entre agosto e outubro de 2023 por meio de entrevista semi-estruturada. Os dados foram organizados por meio do software Interface de R pour les analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionneires (IraMuTeQ) e analisados conforme a análise de conteúdo proposta por Laurence Bardin. A pesquisa atendeu aos princípios éticos estabelecidos pela Resolução no 466/2012 do Conselho Nacional de Saúde e a coleta de dados iniciou somente após a aprovação do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa, sob Parecer n° 6.213.970 e CAAE no 70800823.8.0000.0121. Resultados: a pesquisa resultou em dois manuscritos, o primeiro trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, intitulado ?A rede de apoio sob a ótica de mulheres que amamentaram: uma revisão integrativa de literatura?, que teve como objetivo identificar o conhecimento científico produzido na literatura nacional e internacional sobre as representações sociais da lactante acerca da rede de apoio social durante o período da amamentação. Da análise dos dados, emergiram as seguintes categorias: Apoio social e sua influência no aleitamento materno; Expectativas e emoções das lactantes em relação à vivência da amamentação; Informações sobre amamentação à lactantee ações protetoras ao aleitamento materno. O segundo manuscrito, intitulado ?Representações sociais de lactantes acerca da rede de apoio social no processo da amamentação?, trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratório- descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa, tendo como referencial teórico a Teoria das Representações Sociais de Serge Moscovici. Teve como objetivo conhecer e analisar as representações sociais de lactantes sobre a rede de apoio social no processo de amamentação. Foi realizada uma análise lexicográfica, utilizando duas técnicas de análise: nuvem de palavras e Classificação Hierárquica Descendente, gerando cinco classes: ?Identificando a rede de apoio?; ?Orientações e fontes de informações à lactante?; ?Os sentimentos e expectativas relacionadas ao aleitamento materno\"; ?Fórmula láctea infantil - complemento ou insegurança??; e ?O tempo, a paciência e a persistência?. Considerações finais: esse estudo possibilitou conhecer e analisar as representações sociais de lactantes sobre a influência da rede de apoio social no processo de amamentação. Pode-se conhecer, com os achados dessa pesquisa, que as representações sociais das lactantes sobre a influência da rede de apoio envolvem vários atores da sociedade. Foi possível conhecer que, ao mesmo tempo que as mulheres identificaram a necessidade de apoio, também representaram a experiência da amamentação como única e individual. Sob esse viés, também foi possível conhecer o apoio como fator determinante no aleitamento materno, lhe dando a oportunidade de experimentar e desenvolver autoconfiança para usufruir a experiência de maneira mais leve e prazerosa. Espera-se que este estudo proporcione maior clareza quanto à relevância da rede de apoio social para a lactante, gerando uma práxis transformadora.

Abstract: Objective: to understand and to analyze the social representations of lactating women about the influence of the social support network on the breastfeeding process. Method: this is a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive research, in which the Theory of Social Representations was adopted as a theoretical framework. It was carried out with 17 women who breastfed their children in the last 10 years, in the municipality of Itapema, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Data collection was carried out between August and October 2023 through semi-structured interviews. The data were organized using the software Interface de R pour les analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionneires (IraMuTeQ) and analyzed according to the content analysis proposed by Laurence Bardin. The research complied with the ethical principles established by Resolution No. 466/2012 of the National Health Council and data collection began only after approval by the Research Ethics Committee, under Opinion No. 6,213,970 and CAAE No. 70800823.8.0000.0121. Results: the research resulted in two manuscripts, the first is an integrative literature review, entitled ?The support network from the perspective of women who breastfed: an integrative literature review?, which aimed to identify the scientific knowledge produced in the national and international literature on the social representations of lactating women regarding the social support network during the breastfeeding period. From the data analysis, the following categories emerged: Social support and its influence on breastfeeding; Expectations and emotions of lactating women regarding the experience of breastfeeding; Guidance and information on breastfeeding for lactating women; and Protective actions for breastfeeding. The second manuscript, entitled ?Social representations of lactating women about the social support network in the breastfeeding process?, is an exploratory-descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, having as theoretical framework the Theory of Social Representations of Serge Moscovici. Its objective was to know and analyze the social representations of lactating women about the social support network in the breastfeeding process. A lexicographic analysis was performed, using two analysis techniques: word cloud and Descending Hierarchical Classification, generating five classes: ?Identifying the support network?; ?Guidance and sources of information for the lactating woman?; ?Feelings and expectations related to breastfeeding?; ?Infant formula - supplement or insecurity??; and ?Time, patience and persistence?. Final considerations: this study made it possible to understand the social representations of lactating women about the influence of the social support network on the breastfeeding process. It can be seen from the findings of this research that the social representations of lactating women about the influence of the support network involve several actors in society. It was possible to learn that, at the same time that women identified the need for support, they also represented the breastfeeding experience as unique and individual. From this perspective, it was also possible to understand support as a determining factor in breastfeeding, giving women the opportunity to experiment and develop self- confidence to enjoy the experience in a lighter and more pleasurable way. It is expected that this study will provide greater clarity regarding the relevance of the social support network for lactating women, generating a transformative praxis.
