Os limites éticos e políticos da desobediência civil

Abstract

O objetivo dessa investigação é analisar o(s) conceito(s) contemporâneos de desobediência civil. Para isso é necessário: mapear as incidências desse termos na teoria política contemporânea e no vocabulário dos atores sociais que o evocam; procurar os elementos em comum e traçar uma espécie de conceito mínimo de desobediência civil que possa ser aceito pelos diversos interpretes; expor seus limites tantos em termos éticos quanto políticos tanto no que tange ao núcleo comum do conceito, delimitado na etapa anterior, quanto em suas diversas correntes e interpretações, avaliando seu alcance em cada uma delas; elaborar uma tipologia que abarque as principais interpretações, argumentos e divergências dentro do tema.

Abstract: The objective of this investigation is to analyze the contemporary concept(s) of civil disobedience. To do this, it is necessary to: map the incidence of these terms in contemporary political theory and in the vocabulary of the social actors who evoke them; look for common elements and outline a kind of minimum concept of civil disobedience that can be accepted by different interpreters; expose its limits in both ethical and political terms both in terms of the common core of the concept, delimited in the previous stage, and in its different currents and interpretations, evaluating its reach in each of them; develop a typology that covers the main interpretations, arguments and divergences within the topic.
