Voltar para casa: por uma outra ancestralidade para arquitetura e urbanismo

Abstract

É urgente reconhecer que grande parte dos habitantes das cidades foi separada da experiência de habitar ou desconectada da sua relação com a Terra, já que a perspectiva dominante reduziu o problema do território a sua concretude e a uma visão funcionalista da existência que desconecta as próprias vidas que o habitam. Neste trabalho, considera-se urgente ir em busca de outra herança e para isto, invocar outra ancestralidade, para assim, poder transmitir diferente. Tendo em vista a necessidade de diferentes lentes capazes de reconhecer, credibilizar, visibilizar e legitimar outras formas de produção do espaço que permitam imaginários para além do hegemônico. Para isto, são propostas narrativas diversas decorrentes de outras possibilidades de princípio, sendo elas: no princípio era a criança, no princípio era a mãe e no princípio eram as avós, sendo que este último também pode ser considerado o verbo, composto das vozes de quem historicamente não pode falar, ou falando, não é escutado. Assim, voltar para casa é reativar a circularidade por meio da retomada da geração-neta, geração-mãe e geração-avó como princípios. Voltar para casa é também voltar um lugar de pertencimento, voltar para a Terra, voltar para o corpo, voltar para a infância, voltar para a mãe, voltar para as avós, para daí, reativar a capacidade de habitar. Tomando como base metodologias decoloniais e interseccionais, numa pesquisa incorporada na qual descobrir (ou inventar) e percorrer esse caminho confunde-se com a razão de fazê-lo e com a própria noção de voltar para casa. Voltar para casa mostrou que não é algo passivo, no sentido de voltar para encontrar algo num ponto de chegada (a casa). Também não é apenas voltar para casa, pegar algo perdido ou esquecido e retomar o caminho. Voltar para casa mostrou-se encontrar o próprio caminho e poder percorrê-lo.

Abstract: It is urgent that a large part of the inhabitants of cities have been separated from the experience of living or disconnected from their relationship with the Earth, since the dominant perspective undermines the problem of territory, its concreteness and a functionalist vision of existence that disconnects the very lives that the habit. In this work, it is considered urgent to go in search of another heritage and to do so, invoke another ancestry, so as to be able to transmit something different. Considering the need for different lenses capable of recognizing, giving credibility, making visible and legitimizing other forms of space production that allow for imaginaries beyond the hegemonic. For this, different narratives are proposed arising from other possibilities of principle, namely: in the beginning it was the child, in the beginning it was the mother and in the beginning it was the grandmothers, and the latter can also be considered the verb, composed of the voices of grandparents who historically cannot speak, or speak, are not listened to. Thus, returning home means reactivating circularity through the resumption of the granddaughter generation, mother generation and grandmother generation as principles. Returning home is also returning to a place of belonging, returning to the Earth, returning to the body, returning to childhood, returning to the mother, returning to the grandmothers, and then reactivating the ability to inhabit. Taking decolonial and intersectional methodologies as a basis, in an incorporated research in which discovering (or inventing) and traveling this path is confused with the reason for doing so and with the very notion of returning home. Returning home showed that it is not something passive, in the sense of returning to find something at a point of arrival (home). It?s also not just about returning home, picking up something lost or forgotten and getting back on track. Returning home meant finding your own path and being able to follow it.
