Um Arquivo Histórico Escondido

Abstract

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar a situação atual do Arquivo Histórico Municipal de São José/SC, identificar o seu histórico e diagnosticá-lo para propor tratamento arquivístico aos documentos em prol da difusão e acesso. Estes objetivos foram suscitados frente a algumas indagações, como, por qual razão é tão difícil acessá-lo? Diagnóstico arquivístico é aqui entendido como uma função arquivística que pode mapear os pontos fracos e fortes e viabilizar proposta de difusão, aproximando o arquivo de sua comunidade. Como resultado, foi constatado que não existe uma política de gestão arquivística documental, é ausente o Plano de Classificação, a Tabela de Temporalidade e Destinação de Documentos, também falta uma Comissão Permanente de Avaliação de Documentos (CPAD) e não há controle de pesquisa. Indica-se a criação de uma ferramenta de pesquisa ou guia do arquivo com as informações que já se tem conhecimento: os dados de contato, mais detalhamento sobre o atendimento, história da trajetória do Arquivo. As ações aqui propostas procuram promover a difusão desse rico acervo que pouco se tem acesso, não é digitalizado, nem divulgado.

This research aims to investigate the current situation of the Municipal Historical Archive of São José/SC, identify its history, and diagnose it to propose archival treatment for the documents in favor of dissemination and access. These objectives were prompted by some questions, such as, why is it so difficult to access it? Archival diagnosis is understood here as an archival function that can map the strengths and weaknesses and enable a proposal for dissemination, bringing the archive closer to its community. As a result, it was found that there is no policy for document archival management, the Classification Plan and the Records Retention and Disposition Schedule are absent, there is also a lack of a Permanent Commission for Document Appraisal (CPAD), and there is no research control. It is suggested to create a research tool or archive guide with the information already known: contact details, more details about the service, and the history of the Archive's trajectory. The actions proposed here seek to promote the dissemination of this rich collection, which is rarely accessed, not digitized, nor publicized.
