Investigação da autoria e da morte em Nós, de Salim Miguel

Abstract

Esta dissertação é composta de uma introdução teórica, um resumo e um comentário à novela Nós (2018), de autoria de Salim Miguel (Kfassouron, Líbano, 1924?Brasília, 2016). A partir da concepção teórica de que a literatura produz um conhecimento próprio, de pleno direito, relativo à linguagem, à própria literatura e à vida, busca-se explicitar esse conhecimento da novela estudada, bem como formalizá-lo na medida do possível, valendo-se, para isso, de pensadores e teóricos afins com essa concepção do objeto literário. Atenta-se especialmente, ao longo da discussão, para a maneira como a novela transforma o gênero policial em gênero investigativo, por sua estrutura enfatizar a fragmentação de procedimentos literários (como narradores diversos, saltos no tempo e no espaço diegéticos, etc.), complexificando a descoberta do mandante do crime. Essa atenção expõe um nexo que mescla as instituições da autoria e da literatura com a questão da morte. Dentre as conclusões, afirma-se que Salim Miguel utilizou-se de procedimentos de escrita associados ao chamado pós-modernismo literário, porém, devido ao uso particular que fez disso, transcendeu essa classificação.

Abstract: This dissertation consists of a theoretical introduction, a summary and a commentary on the novella Nós (2018) by Salim Miguel (Kfassouron, Lebanon, 1924?Brasília, 2016). Based on the theoretical conception that literature produces a knowledge of its own, a knowledge of its own right, relating to language, literature itself and life, the aim is to make this knowledge explicit in the novel studied, as well as formalising it as far as possible, using thinkers and theorists who are related to this conception of the literary object. Throughout the discussion, special attention is paid to the way in which the novel transforms the detective genre into an investigative genre, because its structure emphasises the fragmentation of literary procedures (such as different narrators, jumps in diegetic time and space, etc.), making the discovery of the mastermind of the crime more complex. This attention exposes a nexus that merges the institutions of authorship and literature with the question of death. Among the conclusions reached is the assertion that Salim Miguel used writing procedures associated with so-called literary postmodernism, but because of the particular use he made of them, he transcended this classification.
