A criatura inspira um sopro - está viva!

Abstract

Esta tese parte do romance póstumo Um sopro de vida, de Clarice Lispector, para propor um procedimento epistemológico nos estudos literários que considera o conceito de ?vida? na substância do ato criativo. A base da investigação é a premissa de que a ficção clariciana provoca o paradigma sobre o qual se assenta a figura do Autor (personagem de Um sopro de vida), de onde emergem múltiplas desierarquizações entre as categorias literárias canônicas, sendo a mais explícita delas a insurgente personagem Ângela Pralini. Nesse sentido, a literatura clariciana inspira uma forma de ação contra-hegemônica. A hipótese aqui defendida é a de que o deslocamento de autoria em Um sopro de vida possa ser lido a partir de uma operação paraláctica na (e com a) ficção, considerando o movimento contínuo dos agentes que participam da criação na medida em que perturbam seu centro de autoria. Interessa não somente o registro dos diferentes pontos de vista do gesto da criação, mas fundamentalmente a dinamicidade desse deslocamento. A leitura em paralaxe, portanto, passa não só por reconfigurações espaciais (aqui, especialmente, geométricas) mas também por repensar alternativas de representação da dimensão temporal ? afinal, o próprio tempo da narrativa, na literatura clariciana, é continuamente subvertido. Assim, a defesa de um tempo espiralado surge como emblema da metamorfose da autoria na criação literária. Por fim, o movimento das categorias literárias e de seus agentes gera a energia cinética que alimenta a vida na ficção. Pela multiplicidade de formas assumidas por essa vida, a pesquisa incorpora conceitos biodiversos do ecossistema científico, bebendo de fontes da biologia, da física, da filosofia, da química orgânica, da antropologia e das artes visuais. A tese se encerra com a narrativa de uma experiência criativa última, nos campos das artes plásticas e do cinema, partindo de diferentes leituras de Clarice Lispector e dos próprios fragmentos da tese. Aqui, também, autores e personagens se misturam.

Abstract: This research is based on the posthumous novel A breath of life (?Um sopro de vida?), by Clarice Lispector, to propose an epistemological procedure in literary studies that considers the concept of ?life? in the substance of the creative act. The starting point of the investigation is the premise that Clarice's fiction provokes the paradigm on which the figure of the Author (a character in A breath of life) is based, from which multiple de-hierarchizations emerge between the canonical literary categories ? being the most explicit one the insurgent character Ângela Pralini. In this sense, Clarice?s literature inspires a form of counter-hegemonic action. The hypothesis defended here is that the displacement of authorship in A breath of life can be read from a parallactic operation in (and with) fiction, considering the continuous movement of the agents that participate in creation as they disturb its authoring center. It is interesting not only to record the different points of view of the gesture of creation, but fundamentally the dynamics of this displacement. Parallax reading, therefore, involves not only spatial reconfigurations (here, especially geometric ones) but also rethinking alternative representations of the temporal dimension ? after all, the time of the narrative itself, in Clarice?s literature, is continually subverted. Thus, the defense of a spiral time appears as an emblem of the metamorphosis of authorship in literary creation. Finally, the movement of literary categories and their agents generates the kinetic energy that fuels life in fiction. Due to the multiplicity of forms taken by this life, this research incorporates biodiverse concepts from the scientific ecosystem, drawing on sources from biology, physics, philosophy, organic chemistry, anthropology and visual arts. The text ends with the narrative of a final creative experience, in the fields of plastic arts and cinema, based on different readings of Clarice Lispector and the fragments of the dissertation itself. Here, too, authors and characters mix.
