Pintura muralista em Florianópolis (SC) sob a ótica da percepção ambiental

Abstract

As pinturas murais possuem um impacto significativo devido ao seu nível de detalhes, atraindo a atenção das pessoas que passam por elas, são imagens impressionantes que estabelecem uma conexão entre o observador e a arte. Devido a essa intensidade de expressão artística a percepção das pessoas sobre as pinturas pode variar amplamente, dependendo de suas próprias perspectivas e valores. Com essas variações na interpretação e a notória presença das pinturas murais na paisagem urbana, essa pesquisa é um estudo com o objetivo de entender a percepção em relação às pinturas murais no centro da cidade de Florianópolis/SC. O levantamento de dados aconteceu a partir de observação e análise sobre o ambiente. O método utilizado na pesquisa se classifica como descritivo e qualitativo, com coleta de dados realizada por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, através de perguntas relacionadas aos mecanismos mentais da percepção. Os resultados possibilitaram entender a forma como as pessoas se relacionam e constroem uma narrativa perante as pinturas murais, através do processo perceptivo. A pesquisa buscou reconhecer as diferentes percepções que auxiliam na compreensão das distintas interações dos indivíduos com as pinturas. Dessa forma, obtiveram-se diversos elementos temáticos relacionados ao processo perceptivo e às dimensões da sensação, da cognição e do comportamento das pessoas em relação às pinturas murais. O crescente número de pinturas murais em Florianópolis tem transformado o cenário urbano, muitas delas refletindo a cultura local. Ao investigar afetos, cognições e comportamentos relacionados às pinturas, o estudo oferece informações sobre seu impacto nas pessoas em termos de afeto, as pinturas contribuem para o bem-estar emocional geral. No aspecto cognitivo, observa-se um impacto positivo na transformação visual urbana e uma forte conexão cultural. Quanto ao comportamento, há o interesse em buscar informações relacionadas às pinturas, mas não existe uma ação concreta. Ao identificar os elementos temáticos comuns e distintos entre os entrevistados, a pesquisa contribui para uma compreensão mais abrangente das diversas percepções e experiências em relação às pinturas murais, enriquecendo o conhecimento relacionado ao meio urbano.

Abstract: Mural paintings have a significant impact due to their level of detail, attracting the attention of people who pass by them, they are impressive images that establish a connection between the observer and the art. Because of this intensity of artistic expression, people's perception of paintings can vary widely, depending on their own perspectives and values. With these variations in interpretation and the notorious presence of mural paintings in the urban landscape, this research is a study with the objective of understanding the perception regarding mural paintings in the city center of Florianópolis/SC. Data collection took place based on observation and analysis of the environment. The method used in the research is classified as descriptive and qualitative, with data collection carried out through semi-structured interviews, through questions related to the mental mechanisms of perception. The results made it possible to understand how people relate to each other and construct a narrative when faced with mural paintings, through the perceptual process. The research sought to recognize the different perceptions that help in understanding the different interactions between individuals and paintings. In this way, several thematic elements related to the perceptual process and the dimensions of sensation, cognition and people's behavior in relation to wall paintings were obtained. The growing number of mural paintings in Florianópolis has transformed the urban scene, many of them reflecting local culture. By investigating affects, cognitions and behaviors related to paintings, the study offers information about their impact on people in terms of affect, paintings contribute to general emotional well-being. In the cognitive aspect, there is a positive impact on urban visual transformation and a strong cultural connection. As for behavior, there is an interest in seeking information related to the paintings, but there is no concrete action. By identifying common and distinct thematic elements among interviewees, the research contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of the different perceptions and experiences in relation to mural paintings, enriching knowledge related to the urban environment.
