Construção e validação de tecnologia educacional para promoção do aleitamento materno

Abstract

A relevância e os benefícios da amamentação são indiscutíveis para a promoção e proteção da saúde, tanto da criança quanto da mãe, e de considerável importância para a sociedade. Apesar da prática de amamentar ser uma decisão materna, ela sofre influências de terceiros e de períodos críticos, podendo acarretar no desmame precoce total ou parcial. O enfermeiro tem um papel fundamental na orientação e apoio às mães e familiares acerca da amamentação e o uso das tecnologias educativas em saúde configuram-se como importante ferramenta de educação em saúde pelo potencial de alcance abrangente. Diante disso, o objetivo da presente dissertação foi construir e validar uma tecnologia educacional para promoção do aleitamento materno para gestantes e lactantes. Preliminarmente, realizou-se um levantamento na literatura científica, a partir de uma Revisão Integrativa de Literatura (RIL), para conhecer os tipos de tecnologias educacionais produzidas para a promoção do aleitamento materno e que indicou a existência de uma variedade de tecnologias utilizadas como estratégias de promoção da saúde em amamentação, com predomínio das tecnologias educacionais do tipo vídeo educativo e serious game, mas sem menções ao recurso da cartilha interativa. Dessa forma, optou-se pela elaboração da tecnologia da cartilha interativa, que foi denominada ?Amamentação: orientações para mães que amamentam?. Por tratar-se de uma pesquisa de desenvolvimento tecnológico, a construção da cartilha fundamentou-se nas diretrizes da Instrucional System Desing (ISD), por meio do modelo ADDIE (Analysis, Desing, Development, Implementation and Evaluation), em que a coleta de dados, para subsidiar o conteúdo do material, foi realizada por meio de pesquisa em base documental junto ao Grupo de Gestantes e Casais Grávidos da UFSC, ocorrida em 2022. Os dados foram examinados por Análise de Conteúdo e possibilitaram a definição dos temas relevantes para a confecção da cartilha. Após as etapas de design e desenvolvimento, a tecnologia foi avaliada por um Comitê de Experts a partir do Formulário de Validação. A análise da etapa de validação foi feita com base no Índice de Validade de Conteúdo (IVC), utilizando uma escala tipo Likert de 4 pontos, que mensura a proporção de avaliadores que estão em concordância com os itens do instrumento. Esse, por sua vez, também teve sua consistência e confiabilidade aferidas pelo coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach, de modo que, o conteúdo e a aparência do instrumento obtiveram média global do IVC de 87% e Alfa de Cronbach de 0,98, significando que a cartilha foi considerada uma tecnologia educacional válida e o instrumento de validação confiável. Ainda, houveram apontamentos dos experts no sentido de aperfeiçoar o material e potencializá-lo enquanto instrumento de educação e promoção do aleitamento materno. Sendo assim, a tecnologia educacional no formato de cartilha interativa foi validada enquanto instrumento de orientação cerca do aleitamento materno, configurando-se como uma tecnologia relevante e atrativa para a promoção da amamentação, contemplando as principais dúvidas das gestantes sobre o assunto.

Abstract: The relevance and benefits of breastfeeding are indisputable for the promotion and protection of health, both for the child and the mother, and of considerable importance for society. Although breastfeeding is a maternal decision, it is influenced by third parties and critical periods, which may result in total or partial early weaning. In this sense, nurses have a fundamental role in guiding and supporting mothers and families about breastfeeding and the use of educational health technologies are an important health education tool due to their potential for comprehensive reach. Therefore, the objective of this dissertation was to build and validate an educational technology to promote breastfeeding for pregnant and lactating women. Preliminarily, a survey was carried out in the scientific literature, based on an Integrative Literature Review (RIL), to understand the types of educational technologies produced to promote breastfeeding and which indicated the existence of a variety of technologies used as health promotion strategies in breastfeeding, with a predominance of educational technologies such as educational videos and serious games, but without mention of the interactive booklet resource. Therefore, it was decided to develop the interactive booklet technology, which was called ?Breastfeeding: guidelines for breastfeeding mothers?. As it is a technological development research, the construction of the booklet was based on the Instructional System Design (ISD) guidelines, through the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model, in which the collection of data, to support the content of the material, was carried out through documentary research with the Group of Pregnant Women and Pregnant Couples at UFSC, which took place in 2022. The data were examined using Content Analysis and enabled the definition of relevant themes for creating the booklet. After the design and development stages, the technology was evaluated by a Committee of Experts based on the Validation Form. The analysis of the validation stage was carried out based on the Content Validity Index (CVI), using a four-point Likert scale, which measures the proportion of evaluators who are in agreement with the instrument's items. This, in turn, also had its consistency and reliability measured by the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, so that the content and appearance of the instrument obtained an overall CVI average of 87% and Cronbach's Alpha of 0.98, meaning that the booklet was considered a valid educational technology and the validation instrument reliable. Furthermore, there were notes from experts in order to improve the material and enhance it as an instrument for education and promotion of breastfeeding. Therefore, the educational technology in the format of an interactive booklet was validated as a guidance instrument on breastfeeding, configuring itself as a relevant and attractive technology for promoting breastfeeding, addressing the main doubts of pregnant on the subject.
