Regeneração de bairros periféricos: desenvolvimento sustentável e identidade local

Abstract

As estratégias sustentáveis, se adaptadas à identidade de cada local, podem contribuir para a regeneração socioambiental de bairros com populações em situação de vulnerabilidade social. Neste contexto, o principal objetivo desse estudo é identificar e sistematizar os padrões de desenho urbano, propostos no livro Uma Linguagem de Padrões e relacionar com os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável. Propondo um estudo de caso no bairro Santos Dumont em São Leopoldo, focando em suas Áreas Especiais de Interesse Social. A finalidade é sumarizar os padrões passíveis de aplicação, adaptando-os para o contexto local. Os resultados visam contribuir com a regeneração socioambiental do bairro.

Sustainable strategies, if adapted to the identity of each location, can contribute to the socioenvironmental regeneration of neighborhoods with socially vulnerable populations. In this context, the main objective of this study is to identify and systematize the urban design standards, proposed in the book A Language of Patterns, relating them to the Sustainable Development Goals. Proposing a case study in the Santos Dumont neighborhood in São Leopoldo, focusing on its Special Areas of Social Interest. The purpose is to select those that can be applied, adapting them to the local context. The results aim to contribute to the socio-environmental regeneration of the neighborhood.
