Relatório de Estágio Curricular Supervisionado na Área de Clínica Médica de Pequenos Animais

Abstract

No momento de realização do estágio curricular obrigatório do curso de Medicina Veterinário o graduando tem a possibilidade de reforçar conhecimentos adquiridos durante a graduação, tanto teórico quanto prático, e adquirir novos saberes convivendo com profissionais atuantes. O presente trabalho procurou descrever o local de estágio e a casuística acompanhada durante o período de estágio, totalizando 136 pacientes acompanhados na área de clínica médica de pequenos animais, entre caninos e felinos. Os dados como espécie, sexo e idade destes 136 animais foram colocados em tabelas. As afecções foram separadas por sistemas ou especialidade e aquelas mais comuns foram comentadas brevemente, fazendo paralelo com o que a literatura diz e sobre o que foi feito e visto nos pacientes no hospital. O local de estágio foi o Hospital Veterinário Vet Ilha, localizado no centro da cidade de Florianópolis, em Santa Catarina, durante o dia 05 de fevereiro de 2024 até o dia 26 de abril do mesmo ano, totalizando carga horária de 480 horas. O estágio foi realizado em apenas uma concedente com a finalidade de maior adaptação a rotina do local e acompanhamento do início ao fim de um maior número de pacientes.

When completing the mandatory curricular internship of the Veterinary Medicine course, the graduate has the opportunity to reinforce knowledge acquired during graduation, both theoretical and practical, and acquire new knowledge by interacting with working professionals. The present work sought to describe the internship location and the sample followed during the internship period, totaling 136 patients monitored in the small animal medical clinic area, including canines and felines. Data such as species, breed, sex and age of these 136 animals were placed in tables. The conditions were separated by systems or specialty and the most common ones were briefly commented, paralleling what the literature says and what was done and seen in patients in the hospital. The internship location was the Vet Ilha Veterinary Hospital, located in the center of the city of Florianópolis, in Santa Catarina, from February 5, 2024 to April 26 of the same year, totaling 480 hours. The internship was carried out in just one grantor with the purpose of greater adaptation to the local routine and monitoring from beginning to end a greater number of patients.
