Relatório de estágio curricular supervisionado na área de anestesiologia veterinária

Abstract

O estágio curricular obrigatório permite ao estudante aprofundar seu conhecimento na área escolhida, unindo as vivências com seu conhecimento pré estabelecido no ambiente acadêmico durante os anos de graduação. Além disso, é requisito parcial para a obtenção do grau em bacharel no curso de Medicina Veterinária. O presente trabalho objetiva apresentar as atividades desenvolvidas durante o período de estágio curricular obrigatório, na área de Anestesiologia Veterinária no Hospital Veterinário da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia - Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (FMVZ – UNESP), na cidade de Botucatu/SP, totalizando 160 horas no período de 04 de janeiro a 31 de janeiro de 2024. E também relatar o período de estágio no Hospital Veterinário da Universidade de Vila Velha (HV/UVV) – “Professor Ricardo Alexandre Rippler” no período de 07 de fevereiro a 03 de abril de 2024, perfazendo 312 horas. A rotina de estágio compreendeu a realização de exame físico e preparo dos pacientes para a anestesia, elaboração de protocolos anestésicos, monitoração do paciente durante as fases de anestesia, entre outros. O estágio nas concedentes proporcionou habilidades práticas essenciais, assim como desenvolvimento pessoal.

The mandatory curricular internship allows the student to deepen their knowledge in the chosen area, combining experiences with their pre-established knowledge in the academic environment during their undergraduate years. In addition, it is a partial requirement for obtaining a bachelor's degree in the Veterinary Medicine course. The present work aims to present the mandatory curricular internship period in the area of Veterinary Anesthesiology at the Veterinary Hospital of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science - Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (FMVZ – UNESP), in the city of Botucatu/SP, totaling 160 hours in the period from January 4th to January 31st, 2024. Regarding the second stage, it took place at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Vila Velha (HV/UVV) – “Professor Ricardo Alexandre Rippler” in the period from February 7th to 3 April 2024, totaling 312 hours. The internship routine included carrying out a physical examination and preparing patients for anesthesia, developing anesthetic protocols, monitoring the patient during the anesthesia phases, among others. The internship at the grantors provided essential practical skills, as well as personal development.
