Estudo de medidas não-estruturais para controle de inundações na bacia do rio Central em Guarapuava-PR

Abstract

Diversos fatores influenciam o aumento da vazão nos rios em áreas urbanas, resultando em inundações. Os fatores estudados consistem na crescente urbanização e suas derivações, como a impermeabilização, alterações no solo, alterações do leito natural do rio, na utilização de redes de canalizações, que retificam o percurso, aumentando a velocidade e diminuindo o tempo de concentração do efluente. Como estudo de caso, foi analisado o arroio Central do município de Guarapuava, no Paraná, localizado em área central da cidade. Trata-se de uma área com alto adensamento e recorrentes problemas de inundação. Para tanto, foram coletados dados de topografia e legislação, elaborados mapeamentos de delimitação da bacia, cálculos da infraestrutura instalada e do adensamento, e por fim determinados os índices de permeabilidade da região, o que permitiu propostas de medidas não estruturais ainda passíveis de implementação, que apesar de não tão substanciais, não devem ser negligenciadas.

Several factors influence the increase of flow in rivers in urban areas, resulting in floods. The factors studied consists in the increase in urbanization and its derivations, such as waterproofing, alterations in the soil, alterations of the natural riverbed, as the use of piped network (that straight the path, increase the speed and decrease the concentration time of the effluent). As case study, the Central river of the municipality of Guarapuava, Paraná, located in the central area of the city was analyzed, as it is located in area with heavy populational density and recurrent flood problem. To achieve this, the topography data and current legislation has been analyzed, the map of the watershed boundaries, was produced, the existing infrastructure, the densification, and the permeability indices on the area were determinated, which enabled the proposal of non-structural flood control measures able to bring in, even though are not substantial, should not be overlooked.
