Inclusão financeira e a terceira idade: uma revisão sistemática da literatura utilizando ProKnow-C

Abstract

A inclusão financeira é um tema de grande importância, que vem ganhando destaque principalmente em países em desenvolvimento. O objetivo deste estudo é identificar, a partir de publicações científicas na área das Ciências Sociais, como a inclusão financeira para pessoas da terceira idade é abordada. Utilizou-se o método ProKnow-C para realização de uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura. Foram incluídos 14 artigos no estudo. Elaborou-se uma sintetização das definições de inclusão financeira, além de identificar o impacto de fatores sociodemográficos, com foco na influência da idade dos indivíduos em sua relação com os serviços financeiros. Os resultados obtidos mostram que há lacunas na literatura, acreditando-se haver necessidade de novos estudos na área, aprofundando a relação entre a população de maior idade e a economia, visto que a redução da taxa de natalidade e aumento da expectativa de vida fazem com que os idosos ocupem uma parcela significativa da população mundial.

Financial inclusion is a topic of great importance which has been gaining prominence mainly in developing countries. The objective of this study is to identify, from scientific publications in Social Sciences, how financial inclusion for the elderly is addressed. The ProKnow-C method was used to carry out a Systematic Literature Review. Fourteen articles were included in the study. A synthesis of the definitions of financial inclusion was prepared, in addition to identifying the impact of sociodemographic factors, focusing on the influence of individuals' age on their relationship with financial services. The results obtained show that there are gaps in the literature, believing that there is a need for further studies in the area, deepening the relationship between the older population and the economy, since the reduction in the birth rate and increase in life expectancy make with that the elderly occupy a significant portion of the world’s population.
