Redesenhando a matriz curricular do Curso Técnico Subsequente em Agroecologia do Instituto Federal Catarinense – Campus Rio do Sul

Abstract

Este estudo busca, a partir de uma reflexão sobre a grade curricular do curso Técnico Subsequente em Agroecologia do Instituto Federal Catarinense, sugerir um novo modelo de currículo, tendo como pressuposto a formação omnilateral do educando, que seja adquirida por conhecimentos que se coloquem de forma sistêmica, permitindo a compreensão da agroecologia de forma integral. A atual matriz curricular do curso ainda traz consigo a formação cartesiana de como eram construídos os cursos técnicos no período da criação das escolas agrícolas, o que não corresponde ao que se busca em um profissional da área da agroecologia. O objetivo geral deste estudo buscou o redesenho do currículo do curso na busca por melhor integrar suas disciplinas para melhorar a articulação entre os conteúdos formativos de um técnico em agroecologia, baseando-se na abordagem de organização curricular em três estágios de aprendizado, utilizados nas formações básicas em permacultura e aplicados durante o Curso de Especialização em Permacultura. Ao redesenhar a matriz curricular foi possível perceber um novo encadeamento das disciplinas propostas e sua integração tanto horizontal quanto vertical, trazendo um novo olhar para o curso, através de temáticas que compõe as disciplinas, além do atendimento as novas resoluções adotadas pelo IFC.

This study seeks, from a reflection on the curriculum of the Subsequent Technical course in Agroecology of the Instituto Federal Catarinense, to suggest a new curriculum model, based on the assumption of the omnilateral training of the student, which is acquired by knowledge that is placed in a system, allowing the understanding of agroecology in an integral way. The current curriculum matrix of the course still brings with it the Cartesian formation of how the technical courses were built in the period of the creation of agricultural schools, which does not correspond to what is sought in a professional in the field of agroecology. The general objective of this study sought to redesign the course curriculum in the search for a better integration of its disciplines to improve the articulation between the training contents of a technician in agroecology, based on the approach of curricular organization in three stages of learning, used in training courses. permaculture and applied during the Permaculture Specialization Course. By redesigning the curricular matrix, it was possible to perceive a new chain of proposed disciplines and their integration both horizontally and vertically, bringing a new look to the course, through the themes that make up the disciplines, in addition to meeting the new resolutions adopted by the IFC.
