#filhodequatropatas: uma perspectiva sociológica sobre a família multiespécie.

Abstract

Na emergência de novas configurações familiares, ganha força a análise sobre o lugar dos indivíduos nessa rede de relações, interessando, particularmente, a posição dos animais de estimação nela. Portanto, o presente trabalho buscou compreender as características do discurso em relação ao cão como membro da família multiespécie, partindo da análise de conteúdo e discurso em quatro perfis de cães no Instagram e numa entrevista semiestruturada com uma família multiespécie. Questões como a centralidade do afeto e as problemáticas de gênero advindas da sociologia da família, o conceito de processo de individualização em Elias e a discussão humanidade/animalidade em Ingold permeiam a reflexão. Finalmente, percebeu-se que a preponderância com que o cão, como indivíduo, constitui-se através das emoções e do afeto, parece estar intimamente relacionado com seu lugar na família. Ademais, se observa que, para serem valorados e considerados membros da família, tiveram que performar indivíduos humanizados.

In the emergence of new family configurations, the analysis about the place of individuals in this network of relationships gains strength, being of particular interest the position of pets in it. Therefore, this paper sought to understand the characteristics of the discourse in relation to the dog as a member of the multispecies family, starting from the analysis of content and discourse in four dog profiles on Instagram and a semi-structured interview with a multispecies family. Issues such as the centrality of affection and gender issues arising from the sociology of the family, the concept of individuation process in Elias and the discussion humanity/animality in Ingold permeate the reflection. Finally, it was noticed that the preponderance with which the dog, as an individual, constitutes itself through emotions and affection, seems to be intimately related to its place in the family. Furthermore, it is observed that in order to be valued and considered as family members, they had to perform as humanized individuals.
