The curricular internship was development in swine health and production, between May/31 and August/nst 20, of2021, at the company Pamplona Alimentos S/A., located in Laurentino/SC Brazil. Was supervised by the veterinarians Yuso Henrique Tutida and Álvaro Menin, totaling 472 hours. The work environments were swine farms located in cities neighboring the Laurentino servisse unit (Agricultural Development of Pamplona Alimentos S/A), in a radius of approximately 80 km, where can accompany the extension team on field visits, in GRSC farm units, piglet production units, nursery units, Wean to Finish units and growth and finishing units of integrated pig producers and partners, observing, guiding and developing daily tasks within the farms, always in search of a better performance. During the internship period, daily management activities were carried out in the nursery phase, evaluation of backfat thickness, ultrasonography in pregnant females, collection of materials for laboratory diagnosis, maternity management, in addition to daily management of feeding, health and ambiance in the growing and finishing phase. The mandatory curricular internship allowed the academic to develop and acquire new knowledge and experiences in the activities performed, in addition to fixing the contents studied during graduation and its practical application, which will be used for professional practice. |
