Proposta de um modelo para medir a eficiência econômica da logística em empresas industriais

Abstract

Considerado o importante papel que a Logística historicamente representa para que as empresas se mantenham competitivas no mercado, o quanto a efetiva gestão dos custos logísticos se torna relevante nestes tempos em que é cada vez mais imprescindível atender a questões relacionadas a sustentabilidade e aos protocolos de saúde e segurança, esta pesquisa procura atender ao objetivo de desenvolver um modelo para medir a eficiência econômica da logística em empresas industriais. O modelo desenvolvido procura mensurar indicadores que determinam quantos centavos uma empresa industrial gasta em logística para cada real bruto faturado. Durante o processo de construção do modelo fez-se necessário criar uma definição para eficiência econômica da logística e mapear os elementos de custos incorridos em cada processo logístico. O Modelo objeto da pesquisa é composto por três dimensões: custo logístico da estrategia da empresa; custo logístico dos processos e custo logístico do cliente. Neste sentido pondera-se que os custos logísticos estão diretamente relacionados à eficiência da Logística, considerado que esta se relaciona com a capacidade interna de alocar os recursos. A elaboração da pesquisa compreende três etapas distintas: pesquisa bibliográfica, desenvolvimento e pesquisa empírica. Para a construção do modelo a pesquisadora iniciou pelo método indutivo para, depois de estabelecer as teorias e conceitas partir para o método dedutivo. Estruturado o modelo o passo seguinte foi aplicar o mesmo. O instrumento de coleta de dados utilizado, a saber uma planilha eletrônica, foi enviado para cerca de 200 empresas industriais localizadas no estado de Santa Catarina ? Brasil. Foram obtidos 27 questionários devidamente respondidos, ou seja, preenchidos com as informações necessárias para aplicar o modelo. Aplicado o questionário observou-se que a maior dificuldade das empresas está em levantar as informações necessárias para calcular os indicadores de custos logísticos para a Dimensão Cliente. Depois de analisar os resultados obtidos a pesquisadora verificou que quanto menor a variação existente entre os três indicadores totais calculados maior é a eficiência econômica da logística. Por meio da aplicação do modelo em empresas industriais, tornou-se viável a mensuração da eficiência econômica da logística e, por meio do indicador calculado, centavos gastos em logística por real bruto faturado, foi possível identificar quais empresas do conjunto analisado oferecem maior ou pior eficiência econômica para seus processos logísticos. Por fim o modelo proposto permitiu estabelecer uma ferramenta para avaliar a eficiência econômica da logística observadas as três dimensões propostas, o que permite identificar os processos logísticos mais onerosos, conhecer o custo de cada um dos processos, e quanto cada cliente custa para a empresa em relação a logística.

Abstract: Considering the important role that Logistics historically plays for companies to remain competitive in the market, how much the effective management of logistics costs becomes relevant in these times when it is increasingly essential to attend to issues related to sustainability and health protocols and security, this research seeks to meet the objective of developing a model to measure the economic efficiency of logistics in industrial companies. The model developed seeks to measure indicators that determine how many cents an industrial company spends on logistics for each gross real billed. During the process of building the model, it was necessary to create a definition for economic efficiency of logistics and map the elements of costs incurred in each logistics process. The Model object of the research consists of three dimensions: logistical cost of the company's strategy; logistical cost of the process and client's logistical cost. In this sense, it is considered that the logistics costs are directly related to the efficiency of Logistics, considering that this is related to the internal capacity to allocate resources. The elaboration of the research comprises three distinct stages: bibliographic research, development and empirical research. For the construction of the model, the researcher started by the inductive method so, after establishing the theories and concepts, go to the deductive method. Structured the model the next step was to apply the same. The data collection instrument used, namely an electronic spreadsheet, was sent to around 200 industrial companies located in the state of Santa Catarina - Brazil. 27 questionnaires were duly answered, that is, filled in with the necessary information to apply the model. After the questionnaire was applied, it was observed that the greatest difficulty for companies is to obtain the necessary information to calculate the logistics cost indicators for the Customer Dimension. after analyzing the results obtained, the researcher found that the smaller the variation between the three total indicators calculated, the greater the economic efficiency of logistics. Through the application of the model to industrial companies, it became feasible to measure the economic efficiency of logistics and, by means of the calculated indicator, cents spent on logistics per gross invoiced real, it was possible to identify which companies in the analyzed group offer higher or worse economic efficiency for your logistics processes. Finally, the proposed model allowed the establishment of a tool to assess the economic efficiency of logistics, observing the three proposed dimensions, which allows to identify the most costly logistics processes, to know the cost of each of the processes, and how much each customer costs to the company in relation logistics.
