Informação crítico-emancipatória com perspectiva de gênero: os direitos das mulheres em programas radiofônicos femininos

Abstract

A pesquisa tem como objetivo central compreender as características da produção radiofônica segmentada para o público feminino, observando na informação transmitida o potencial para a construção de um conhecimento crítico-emancipatório. Para isso busca, na história da participação das mulheres no desenvolvimento do rádio brasileiro, recuperar a memória sobre o que foi produzido por e para elas, bem como inventariar os programas que integram tal segmento na produção contemporânea. A partir deste levantamento, elege como objeto empírico o programa Mulheres de Palavra, da Rádio Câmara de Brasília, que tem como propósito ampliar a visibilidade das discussões sobre os projetos de lei e as políticas públicas que afetam a vida das mulheres, destacando a atuação das deputadas nessa área. O corpus analisado concentra as 31 edições transmitidas durante o ano de 2019, embora o estudo também considere as transformações que caracterizam o desenvolvimento do programa desde sua estreia, em fevereiro de 2017. Assumindo uma concepção epistemológica feminista, que contempla as interseccionalidades que influenciam a composição do discurso jornalístico sobre e para as mulheres, a pesquisa utiliza procedimentos metodológicos da Hermenêutica de Profundidade (THOMPSON, 1995), incluindo suas etapas referenciais. Assim, a revisão bibliográfica e documental e a realização de entrevistas em profundidade contribuem para a análise sócio-histórica das formas simbólicas que constituem o campo-sujeito-objeto. Para fundamentar a etapa de análise das edições selecionadas para integrarem o corpus, parte-se das dimensões (referencial, enunciativa e estrutural) propostas pela análise sistemática do discurso radiofônico (MATA; SCARAFÍA, 1993). Busca-se, então, identificar quais os conteúdos abordados e os discursos enunciados, descrevendo seus elementos estruturais. Por fim, ao caracterizar o programa, discutem-se as estratégias pedagógicas acionadas para informar, educar e promover a reflexão sobre os direitos das mulheres a partir da cobertura das atividades parlamentares. Diante das análises, observa-se no programa Mulheres de Palavra o potencial para a construção de um conhecimento crítico-emancipatório. Considerando o papel social transformador do jornalismo, as conclusões evidenciam a importância do debate sobre a compreensão crítica dos jornalistas a respeito das questões de gênero.

Abstract: The main objective of this research is to understand the characteristics of radio production segmented to the female audience, observing in the information transmitted the potential for the construction of critical-emancipatory knowledge. For this purpose, it is sought, in the history of women's participation in the development of Brazilian radio, to recover the memory of what was produced by and for them, as well as to inventory the programs that integrate this segment in contemporary production. From this, it chooses as an empirical object the program Mulheres de Palavra, from RádioCâmara de Brasília, which aims to increase the visibility of the discussions on the bills and public policies that affect the lives of women, highlighting the performance of women. deputies in that area. The analyzed corpus concentrates the 31 editions transmitted during 2019, although the study also considers the transformations that characterize the program's development since its debut, in February 2017. Assuming a feminist epistemological conception, which contemplates the intersectionalities that influence the composition from the journalistic discourse about and for women, the research uses methodological procedures of Depth Hermeneutics (THOMPSON, 1995), including its referential stages. Thus, the bibliographical and documentary review and in-depth interviews contribute to the socio-historical analysis of the symbolic forms that constitute the subject-subject-object field. To support the analysis stage of the selected editions to integrate the corpus, we start from the dimensions (referential, enunciative and structural) proposed by the systematic analysis of the radio discourse (MATA; SCARAFÍA, 1993). It then seeks to identify which contents are addressed and the speeches enunciated, describing their structural elements. Finally, when characterizing the program, the pedagogical strategies used to inform, educate and promote reflection on women's rights from the coverage of parliamentary activities are discussed. In view of the analyzes, we observed in the 'Mulheres de Palavra' the potential for the construction of critical-emancipatory knowledge. Considering the transforming social role of journalism, the conclusions show the importance of the debate on the critical understanding of journalists regarding issues of genre.
