Masculino e feminino em Canção para ninar menino grande, de Conceição Evaristo

Abstract

Este trabalho objetiva investigar como são representados os gêneros masculino e feminino no romance Canção para ninar menino grande, de Conceição Evaristo (2018). A análise está fundamentada nos estudos de Judith Butler (2003) e Pierre Bourdieu (2012). Além destes, outros autores são citados ao longo do texto como suporte à fundamentação teórica. A pesquisa demonstra como o gênero masculino é construído pelas narrativas das personagens femininas e como essas personagens subvertem as performances do gênero feminino na obra de Evaristo.

This work aims to investigate how the male and female genders are represented in the novel "Canção para ninar menino grande", by Conceição Evaristo (2018). The analysis is reasoned by the studies of Judith Butler (2003) and Pierre Bourdieu (2012). In addition to these, other authors are cited throughout the text as support for the theoretical foundation. The research demonstrates how the male gender is constructed by the narratives of female characters and how these characters subvert the performance of the female gender in Evaristo's work.
