A dinâmica da construção civil no município de Palhoça

Abstract

Estudo que analisa a dinâmica econômica e geográfica presente no processo de desenvolvimento do município de Palhoça/SC, relacionando-a com as transformações ocorridas na cidade no setor da construção civil. O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi analisar a dinâmica da construção civil no município de Palhoça. Para tanto foram analisados como objetivos específicos, o papel do Plano Diretor Municipal e do Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida, além do estudo comparativo dos casos das construtoras MRV e Pedra Branca. Esse movimento sempre esteve fortemente ligado aos processos socioeconômicos manifestados nos últimos anos na dinâmica de toda a Região Metropolitana de Florianópolis e, portanto, para melhor compreensão, aborda-se o tema de maneira temporal linear, pois se tem a ideia de que os eventos anteriores têm o poder de influência. A pesquisa parte da explicação do processo de urbanização do litoral catarinense, da região e do município. Em seguida é identificada a relação entre o setor da construção civil e o desenvolvimento social e econômico da região de estudo, analisando também a função do poder público e a utilização de diversos recursos. Ao final o estudo destaca duas das inúmeras empresas que atuam no setor da construção civil no município e que se sobressaem, com base na importância nacional, regional e municipal, contribuindo para o protagonismo do crescimento da cidade de Palhoça.

Abstract: This work analyzes the economic and geographic dynamics present in the development process of the municipality of Palhoça - SC, relating it to the transformations that took place in the city in the civil construction sector. The general objective of the research was to analyze the dynamics of civil construction in the municipality of Palhoça. Therefore, the role of the Municipal Master Plan and the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program were analyzed as specific objectives, in addition to the comparative study of the cases of the construction companies MRV and Pedra Branca. These movements have always been strongly linked to the socioeconomic processes manifested in recent years in the dynamics of the entire Metropolitan Region of Florianópolis and, therefore, for a better understanding, the theme is approached in a linear temporal manner, as it is believed that previous events have the power to influence. Thus, the research begins by explaining the urbanization process of the Santa Catarina coast, the region and the municipality. It also identifies the relationship between the civil construction sector and the social and economic development of the region under study, also analyzing the role of the government and the use of different resources. In the end, the present work highlights two of the countless companies that stand out due to their national, regional and municipal importance, which operate in the civil construction sector in the municipality and which contribute to the protagonism regarding the growth of the city of Palhoça.
