Roça barroca: mundos torrentes

Abstract

Este estudo tem por objeto o livro Roça barroca (2011), de Josely Vianna Baptista, compósito de tradução de mitopoética Mbyá-Guarani e poesia de extração neobarroca, lido a partir do conceito de espaço cultural contraponteado, proposição de Lezama Lima em A expressão americana, e referências dos campos da cultura, filosofia, antropologia e história indígena, com o substrato das teorias do poema. A tomada do texto poético pela figura de linguagem da diaforia/antanáclase, pela qual se lê o dúplice e as dobras na enunciação do espaço ao mesmo tempo ameríndio e ibérico, é secundada por conceitos multifários, como paisagem inventada, di-linguismo, cosmofonia e mito. Nessa cena de leitura, o estranhamento da tarefa tradutória e da linguagem poética de Roça barroca encontra a estraneidade da condição sociocultural que os mitos Mbyá-Guarani vozeiam.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyse the book Roça Barroca (2011) by Josely Vianna Baptista, a composite of Mbyá-Guarani mythopoetic's translation and poetry of Neo-baroque extraction, read from the concept of \"contrapuntal (counterpointed) cultural space\" - a proposition taken from Lezama Lima in La expresión americana (The American expression), as well as references coming from several fields: culture, philosophy, anthropology and indigenous history, taking into account the substrate from the poem's theories. Considering the poetic text by the figure of speech called antanaclasis for which it is possible to read the dual and the folds in the enunciation of the space at the same time Amerindian and Iberian, it follows multifarious concepts as invented landscape, dual-linguism, cosmophony and myth. In this reading scenario, the strangeness of the translation task and of the poetic language of Roça Barroca meets the strangeness of the sociocultural condition the Mbyá-Guarani myths give voice.
