Mulheres que foram à luta contra a ditadura nas páginas do jornal correio do povo (1968-1975)

Abstract

Esta dissertação tem como objetivo analisar os discursos produzidos e difundidos acerca das mulheres que atuaram em grupos clandestinos de esquerda, que se opunham à ditadura brasileira, no jornal gaúcho Correio do Povo, entre os anos de 1968 a 1975. Para tanto, a pesquisa procura entender como se constituiu a imprensa durante o período ditatorial brasileiro e qual a importância do periódico Correio do Povo na conjuntura da época. Investiga-se também a presença destas militantes nas organizações de esquerda e a relação delas com a repressão, entendendo-as como transgressoras e revolucionárias, ao se posicionarem contra o regime e ao romperem com papéis impostos às mulheres naquela sociedade. A partir do levantamento e da análise da discursividade das fontes, percebe-se a utilização, por parte do Correio do Povo, de termos como ?subversivas? e ?terroristas? para tratar dessas militantes. Dentre estas, destaca-se a presença da ?loira dos assaltos?, que estampa as páginas do jornal, sempre rodeada de sentidos e significados. Sob um olhar dos estudos de gênero, pretende-se construir as mulheres militantes como sujeitos históricos, incluídas no jogo do poder, assim como apontar a relevância dessas militantes para a construção da história do Brasil.

Abstract: This dissertation aims to analyze the discourses produced and disseminated about the women who acted in clandestine left-wing groups, that opposed the Brazilian dictatorship in the newspaper Correio do Povo between the years of 1968 and 1975. For this, the research tries to understand how the press was constituted during the Brazilian dictatorial period and the importance of the periodical Correio do Povo in the conjuncture of that time. It also investigates the presence of these militants amongst the leftist organizations and their relation to repression, understanding them as transgressors and revolutionaries by standing against the regime and breaking with the roles imposed on women in that society. From the research and the analysis of the discursivity of the sources, the use of the terms \"subversive\" and \"terrorist\" to treat these militants is perceived on the periodical. Among the discourses, the presence of ?the blonde of assaults? stands out at the Journal pages, always surrounded by senses and meanings. According to gender studies, it is intended to build the militant women as historical subjects, included in the game of power, as well as to point out the relevance of the militant women for the construction of the history of Brazil.
