A trajetória das profissionais mulheres no radiojornalismo esportivo em Santa Catarina

Abstract

Esta pesquisa registra historicamente e analisa a trajetória profissional das mulheres no radiojornalismo esportivo de Santa Catarina, desde a fase pioneira do rádio no estado até a atualidade. Ao se percorrer a história do rádio esportivo no Brasil, verifica-se a hegemonia masculina, sobretudo nas funções que vão aos microfones. Porém, mesmo pouco visíveis sob esta predominância dos homens, radiojornalistas e radialistas mulheres têm participado da constituição deste gênero radiofônico, com presença mais marcante na contemporaneidade. Pretende-se contribuir para o (re)conhecimento e preservação da história do jornalismo catarinense bem como com as práticas deste segmento do rádio. Trata-se de investigação histórica, empírica e exploratória. Está ancorada em subsídios teóricos e metodológicos da história, da história da comunicação e jornalismo e, mais especificamente, do radiojornalismo, recorrendo, nas estratégias, sobretudo à análise documental. Ao todo, foram registradas 27 profissionais mulheres com participação no radiojornalismo esportivo catarinense. Uma das principais compreensões resultantes da pesquisa é que a inserção dessas profissionais neste segmento radiofônico, de forma significativa e com maior visibilidade, aconteceu tardiamente, apenas nas últimas duas décadas. Essas profissionais vêm assumindo funções de repórter, plantonistas, gestoras de mídias sociais, mas somente em 2018 tiveram experiências como narradoras e comentaristas. Narração e comentário, ainda hoje, são práticas fortemente restrita aos homens.

Abstract: This research aims to analyze and historically register the professional path of women in the sports radio journalism in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, since the pioneering stage of the radio until now. As going through the history of the sports radio in Brazil, it is possible to verify the male hegemony in this area, especially in the functions that ?hold the microphones?. However, even barely visible under this male hegemony, women that are radio journalists and radio hosts have been participating in the constitution of this radio genre, with greater presence these days. This work also aims to contribute to the acknowledgement, recognition and preservation of the history, of the history of communication and journalism, and more specifically of the history of radio journalism, using the document analysis as its main strategy. 27 female radio professionals that work (or worked) in the sports radio journalism in the state of Santa Catarina have been identified. One of the main insights resulting from the research is that the inclusion of these professionals in this radio segment, in a significant and more visible way, happened late, only in the last two decades. These professionals have been assuming functions as reporter, reporter on duty or social media manager, but only in 2018 they had experiences as narrators and commentators. Narration and comment are practices that even today are strongly restricted to men.
